Cornish Retreat in the Cider Barn, Stoke Climsland

Recently converted to a high standard, the Cider Barn can comfortably accommodate 2 people. It has a well-equipped kitchen and open-plan living area. There is a comfortable king sized bed and large shower room. Upstairs there is a large sitting room with a corner sofa bed. Guests have access to our large garden and beautiful outside seating areas. Located just outside the village of Stoke Climsland, on the edge of the Tamar Valley, we are ideally positioned for exploring Devon and Cornwall, The space Originally the Cider Barn was the location of the Farm's Apple Press and storage, probably built around 1700. Converted in 2019 into a well-equipped annex that sleeps 2. Downstairs: You enter into an open-plan light and airy kitchen, sitting and dinning area with the main bedroom and bathroom off an adjacent hall. The kitchen is very well equipped with electric induction hob, cooker, dishwasher and breakfast bar with 2 stools. The sitting dinning area has a sofa that can sit 2 comfortably and a table that seats 4. A hall leads to the main bedroom, which has a very comfortable King sized bed. The room has an east facing window which looks out onto trees, farmland and gets the sunrise. The bathroom opposite has a large shower, with the washer/dryer in the cupboard. Up stairs there is a large open-plan living space, which has a large corner sofa that incorporates a double sofa bed. The area includes a work space and TV. There is a selection of books, board games and jigsaws. Guests have access to our large garden and a large south-facing decking area immediately outside the front of the Cider Barn, which has beautiful climbing roses rambling over a pergola. There is a small private seating area to the side that get the morning sun. Table tennis and various outdoor games are available. Guest access Own off-road parking for 2 cars. Grass path to door with 2 steps. Other things to note Although we are set in a rural setting, down narrow country lanes that can be muddy, we are close to the main road for convenient access to both the North and South coasts as well as the Moors. It is recommended to bring Wellington boots, especially if it has been wet.
