Looking for a nice quiet holiday away in the country! Mon-Abri Homestead' is a historical 120 year old federation home, country charm overlooking picturesque valley views and mountains. . Located on the edge of Dorrigo township, Mid-North Coast Hinterland, NSW. A great get away from hustle bustle of everyday life. An idyllic tourist accomodation for family and friends,and perfect destination for peaceful holiday getaway with Max 6 guests to stay. Explore the national parks and waterfalls :-) The space This lovely federation homestead is nestled amongst 2.5acres of lush pastures with quiet, peaceful surroundings, overlooking rolling hills and valley views, privacy around house and secure backyard. Occassionally see the beautiful cows next door and our 2 lovely mare horses eating the pastures. The homestead has been extensively renovated with ongoing improvements, has been a labour of love. Inside house features hardwood floorboards and weatherboard walls and iron roof, foundation on solid brick piers. Will have access to ground level, consisting of 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, large kitchen, sunroom, dining room, yoga/relaxation room, and balcony access overlooking stunning views. Located close to Dorrigo town centre (2 min drive) and the beautiful Dangar Falls, where you can walk down to and take a dip in refreshing water :-) Property is open to max of 6 guests entering and staying. There are 3 bedrooms, 1 x queen bed, 1 x double bed, 2 x single beds. Upstairs loft not accessible sorry. Have just opened calender up to longer stays with weekly/monthly discounts, up to 3 month stays at a time.. possibly 6 month lease if suitable. Please enquire with host first before booking longer stays. Starting 2027 book for weekly and monthly stays available. Pets are welcomed :-).. the large yard is fenced and plenty roaming space. This is a great property to experience, take a step back in time to enjoy the 120 year old rustic homestead, unwind and relax and explore Dorrigo and its waterfall treasures. Guest access Guests have full privacy to house and surrounds to enjoy the serenity and stunning valley views. Host lives nextdoor property about 100m so not far away if you need any assistence, thankyou ☺️ Other things to note * Mon-Abri Homestead is located only a 2 minute drive (2km) out of Dorrigo township towards North Dorrigo/Bosterbrick.. close to national parks, waterfalls. walking tracks, cafes, local pub/bistro and the Skywalk which currently is being rebuilt into a multimillion project, a must see! * When parking your car near house please be mindful not to park or stand under the old oak trees as they drop branches time to time. Best to park car under carport adjacent to house. :-) Thnks *All beds are made freshly with clean linen, doonas and we provide fresh clean towels. * Provide basic kitchen essentials ie sugar, coffee, tea, cooking oil , sauces, salt/pepper, milk. * Suitable small group family and or friends meeting grounds, holiday getaway (max 6 guest entry onto property) * Pets are welcomed as we have fully fenced large enclosed area...we just kindly ask for your pets not to sleep on beds or jump on lounge inside house.. thankyou :-) * Winter months we supply certain amount of firewood for inside fireplace, if you need any more wood we offer boxes for $15 each, otherwise feel welcome to bring your own firewood or can purchase bags from local hardware store. * Summer months, we offer portable standing fans, no air conditioning sorry but we do get lovely cool breezes via open windows and doors, Dorrigo is alot cooler than the coastal region, up to 5 degrees cooler. * If feeling adventurous we are a 30min drive to spectacular Ebor Falls where they have just recently upgraded the walking tracks to more waterfalls. Also make sure you visit Dangar Falls and its beautiful walking track aswell as Crystal Showers out near Skywalk national park. *Standard price per night includes 2 guests, for extra guests staying is $35 per person per night, which covers extra cleaning and bed making aswell as expenses like gas hot water, electricity, essential etc.. thanku * From mid janurary 2027 were encouraging weekly and monthly stays...with potential for 3 month and 6 month lrases for suitable guests...offering 40% weekly discounts and 50% for monthly booking discount. Longer stays available though please discuss with host before booking thankyou :-) * Please note our cancellation policy is set to ‘Strict’ which means for whatever reason booking needs to be cancelled, 50% refund will be reimbursed within two weeks of arrival. We highly suggest cover yourself with travel insurance incase any emergency occurs and unable to fullfill booking. We do not offer refunds as we put alot of time and effort into preparing stays, ensuring our guests have a lovely, enjoyable and safe time.
