Honey Bee Barn is a spacious dog friendly detached stone barn with exposed beams throughout which is both rustic and charming and lies in a beautiful setting surrounded by fields and mountain views. You will love the the spacious living areas and log burner for warm cosy evenings as well as the tastefully decorated bedrooms, Although situated in rural surroundings on the Wales/England border, we are fortunate to be very central to many tourist attractions so you have the best of both worlds. The space Honey Bee Barn is a very spacious traditional built 200 year old stone barn retaining many original features within the property but having a modern twist to make it a home from home for all of our guests to enjoy. Our beautiful barn conversion is a great place for gatherings with family or friends. The spacious entertaining areas means there is plenty of room for everyone and also room if you need a little time on your own. The rural setting means that you wake up to bird song everyday, the views are exceptional and some of your neighbours whilst you stay are the horses, sheep and cows in the fields that surround you. The Space The barn has a spacious kitchen which is fully equipped for your stay and also has a utility area with dishwasher and washing machine. The open plan living/dining room has a smart tv and a wood burning stove to keep you warm on cold cosy evenings in. The dining area has a traditional solid oak table to seat six guests and makes an enjoyable space to share meal times with your family or friends. There is a separate tv/games room with a smart tv and small games table which is an ideal space for children to play and have their own space whilst the adults sit back and relax. For guests needing to study or work whist away on holiday, there is a desk set up to enable you to do so. There is also a downstairs w/c. There are two staircases, one at each end of the property where you can access the bedrooms and main bathroom. Upstairs you will find the spacious, light and airy bathroom situated between bedrooms 1 and 2. The main bedroom is very spacious with a luxurious super king size sleigh bed and two further bedrooms both with double beds. Please note that Bedroom 3 is a mezzanine level bedroom off one of the staircases and you would need to walk through the main bedroom to access the bathroom upstairs, however there is a w/c downstairs that can be used without disturbing anyone in the night. Bedroom 1 and 3 have double oak doors between them which can either be left open if you have children or can be locked for privacy if you prefer. In the area Although we are situated in rural surroundings which makes it a walkers paradise, we are only a stones throw from a variety of attractions and beautiful places to visit. Honey Bee Barn is just 4 miles from the busting market town of Mold where there are a range of shops and supermarkets and some lovely restaurants for you to chose from. There is also a sports centre with swimming pool if you fancy a bit of exercise or if you prefer you can book to see a stage show at Theatre Clwyd. Wrexham which has just gained city status is only 8 miles away and has many shops, eateries and of course the Football ground. There is a Science discovery centre and Waterworld activity centre to name but a few places to keep the children entertained, The historic city of Chester is approximately 30 minutes away and is a place not to be missed. It has everything you could wish for such as shopping, eateries, boats trips, nightlife, theatre and a day trip to the zoo is a definite must. Locally there is a convenience store in the village, and a lovely farm shop selling local produce and a local pub. Bedroom 3 is an open plan bedroom on a mezzanine level off one of the staircases (see photos). Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 3 are walk through bedrooms to access the main bathroom and to access the staircase. There are double oak doors between these rooms which can be closed and bolted for privacy at night and the downstairs w/c can be accessed without disturbing anyone. This property is suitable for family or friends wishing to spend quality time together and to explore the many attractions in the surrounding area.
