Bluebell Cottage - with private & secluded hot tub

Bluebell is a well appointed, stylish cottage set in a very rural peaceful valley & offering all the modern comforts of home. Set within 23 acres of our land with private hot tub & a high degree of privacy. Escape the stresses of everyday life, relax & enjoy the peaceful, beautiful tranquility of these fabulous surroundings. For future guests consideration … some of the beautiful rural country lanes to our property are narrow, steep & bumpy & may not be suitable for low level spoiler cars. The space Bluebell Cottage is the ideal location to explore all wonderful West Wales has to offer, its gorgeous countryside & its stunning sandy beaches. This area is beautifully rural & as you might expect in the countryside some of our roads are narrow, steep & single lane. We feel this only adds to the beauty & charm of our location, but if you have a low level/sporty type car you may have difficulties, or if you are at all nervous about driving on country lanes, then please give careful consideration before booking Bluebell. Bluebell was renovated in 2023 & we have worked hard to create a cosy, warm, comfortable well equipped & stylish open-plan contemporary living space. Bluebell has a wood burner & large patio doors which lead out to a lawned garden & covered patio, which is perfect for enjoying the private hot tub in all weathers. The bedroom has a kingsize bed, it is bright and airy & has French doors leading to large lawned gardens. An air source heat pump provides hot water & underfloor heating throughout the cottage. Electricity, bed linen, toiletries, towels & Wi-Fi are included. Initial logs, kindling & firelighters for the wood burner are also included, additional logs & kindling can be purchased locally in Newcastle Emlyn. Travel cot & highchair are available on request. We provide a locally produced Welsh welcome pack, including milk, Welsh cakes, apple juice & chocolate bars. The lawned garden area has garden furniture, covered private 4-person hot tub, BBQ, bike store & parking. Local amenities in Newcastle Emlyn approx. 4 miles away, include 2 small supermarkets, butchers, takeaways, pubs, cafes, antique shops and gift shops. A wider range of amenities, including larger supermarkets (Tesco/Morrison will deliver) & shops, cafes & restaurants can be found in either Carmarthen or Cardigan approximately a 25-minute drive or 20-minute drive away respectively Bluebell Cottage is Non-smoking/vaping. There are 2 steps up to the cottage. 4/5G mobile signal in our area is very poor unless you are with EE network which receives a good signal. For our guests convenience we have installed Starlink Guest WiFi network which is freely available to all our guests during their stay. We are rural so WiFi can be subject to drop-outs. All on the Ground Floor: Open plan living space area including; Living area: Freeview smart TV, wood burner, snuggle chair & patio doors leading to the garden. Dining area: With extendable table & 4 chairs. Kitchen area: Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. Separate bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) bed, bedside tables, hairdryer, wardrobe & drawers, Freeview TV. Separate bathroom: Walk-in rainfall shower, heated towel rail, sink & toilet. Guest access Please note self check-in is after 4pm & check-out by 10am, please do not check-in before 4pm (unless this has been pre-arranged with myself) as cleaners will still be in the property. Bluebell Cottage is accessed via a shared drive, we have 5 properties in total on our land - Bluebell is our only holiday let. We are currently renovating Snowdrop Cottage which we hope will be ready & available by Winter 2025. Other things to note If you require a cot or highchair please let me know at time of booking. There is a large pond area close to Bluebell which is currently under renovation. There are also some deep uncovered ditches on our land, so please do not allow young children to be unaccompanied in the garden or anywhere on our land at any time. Bluebell lies within our 23 acres of our smallholding & from time-to-time machinery & tractors may be in use. We will always do our best to ensure this does not impact on the peace & tranquillity of your stay here. We have a small & friendly terrier called Nellie who has free run on our land, however she is very unlikely to come up to Bluebell - if she does bother you please let us know & we can ensure she is safely tucked away.
