We have a real desire to help our guests experience not only the house and our amazing beach setting but the island as well with recommendations, help and useful info so you don't waste any time once you're on the 'rock' ! When you arrive and head down the 30 metre driveway well away from the road on to the large 3/4 acre section there is a spacious feel and no compacted units or high rise apartments so there is space, privacy and distance from others. enter the house through the private carport and gaze at the amazing views from the open plan downstairs area to the recently mosaic tiled pool and lagoon. The house has two bedrooms and two bathrooms over two floors and sleeps 4 comfortably. both bedrooms have balconies and air conditioning. The kitchen has all modern equipment including dishwasher and large fridge freezer. We provide filtered cold drinking water which you can re fill easily at any of the free water stations around the island. There is a washing machine to use in the downstairs bathroom. the lounge has a huge couch with the usual smart TV/ DVD, books and music port and the huge deck will be your main place of stay - it has a BBQ, outside dining, loads of chairs, cushions plus sun loungers , paddle boards and of course the large 9 metre mosaic tiled salt pool for your sole use during your stay ! Adam & Sarah Guest access Taakoka Villa is your house for your entire stay! as a 'self catered' holiday house you book and stay safely in your own home for your island holiday. The large section also has a outside shower kayaks and paddle boards plus snorkel gear (no fins) that can be used in the pristine lagoon to explore the island right in front of the house -oh and dont forget the salt pool ! Muri really is the main tourist hub of the island and our setting is 500m from the now famous Muri Night Market, stroll off the lawn on to the beach and walk down to one of the resorts for a cocktail or to the sailing club to sit on the deck and watch the activity on the beach. the two lagoon cruise options are also a few minutes walk from the house yet on the beach is feels like there's no one else around as we are just far enough away from the action but its right there when you want it ! There is a staircase to the 1st floor bedroom with hand rail. Other things to note One thing to note that will have a major impact on your stay in our little piece of paradise is the relaxing and re charging effect that will come during your stay! If you have not visited before then you will notice the slower pace of everything here and your day starts and ends as you decide. We provide you with all the info you need to either hit the ground running or hit the beach and do nothing, it's up to you. Upon arrival we can book a airport transfer to the house (for a fee) or provide easy directions should you rent a car, just mention on booking. - check in from 2pm - check out 10am - this property does not allow children under 13yrs
