Welcome to Cove a modern stylish four-bedroom beach house near Mamallapuram, designed for stays up to groups of 12 guests and larger groups looking for parties, celebrations and events. With direct private access to the beach, the house has arcade-style games, a first floor party-terrace with a large openair jacuzzi. It also shares a stunning pool with its sister property Isles. Cove is fully staffed and offers delicious Indian cuisine. Breakfast is included and We welcome pets. The space Over two decades ago, near the Nemmeli Beach off East Coast Road, stood a clubhouse shared by six families. They spent many weekends here, splashing around in its vast pool and playing on the beach. Eventually, the land was divided up and bought by one of the families, who yearned to inject life back into their childhood beach house. This was the birth of Cove. The clubhouse became Cove, which has been refurbished to capture the childhood joy the family used to experience here. Arcade games and a foosball table have been installed in the gaming lounge, and the terrace has been kitted with a bar and hot tub, giving every family member something to enjoy. Its sister villa, Isles, was built around the pool, with individual rooms so people could meet new friends while enjoying a swim and a drink, the same way the families would before. ​Visit Cove individually, or Isles and Cove in combination as a big group, to enjoy a unique ECR beach house experience that adults and children alike will love. Guest access Guests have access to all of the indoor and outdoor spaces at Cove, except the kitchen which is for service staff only. Guests do not have access to any spaces of the neighboring / sister villa Isles Beach B&B. Other things to note We are delighted to welcome your furry companions. Sharing a few guidelines to help make their stay comfortable. Do carry your own pet bedding, blankets or throws, as we do not provide doggie beds. Do not forget their towels, water bowls, treats, and favorite toys to help them feel at home. Pets are not permitted to climb onto or sleep on beds, sofas, or other furniture. This helps us maintain a clean and comfortable space for all guests. Please clean up after your pets, both inside the villa (in case of accidents) and on the villa grounds. Please wipe off muddy paws and ensure they are sufficiently dry before they enter the villa after their walk. Entry into our property is subject to: Payment of refundable security deposit prior to arrival Signed booking contract from you along with photo IDs of all guests prior to arrival REFUNDABLE SECURITY DEPOSIT Please note that a refundable security deposit of INR 15,000 will be collected immediately after booking confirmation. This can be paid via NEFT or UPI. The security deposit will be returned within 5 working days after checkout, minus any claims for damages, if applicable. Entry to the property will not be permitted unless the Security Deposit is paid. SIGNED BOOKING CONTRACT A booking contract form will be sent to you. Please fill-it, sign-it and send it back to us along with soft copies of photo IDs of all guests. If Isles is booked exclusively by a single group, then you will not have access to the swimming pool. Eat at farm-to-fork restaurants, beach shacks or luxury resort dining Try out beach activities like surfing lessons or ATV beach rides Absorb the nature around you on gentle countryside walks or with a cycling trail ride Join the staff from Madras Crocodile Bank for a snake-hunting tour or a night safari Take a curated or self-guided tour of Mamallapuram to explore its UNESCO heritage sites, sample its local cuisine and shop for stone and wood trinkets Visit Kanchipuram, the City of a Thousand Temples, to pay respect at its holy sites or shop for its famous Kanchipuram silk saris Spend half a day in Pondicherry, cycling around the city, trying out its cafes and bars, visiting its temples and museums, and shopping in the city and in Auroville nearby Please do note the following rules: The swimming pool is shared by all guests of Isles & Cove, unless Isles is booked as a whole villa private rental. Indoor spaces are non-smoking. Pets are permitted at Isles and Cove. Isles and Cove are separate units. Renting one does not permit access to the other. A whole-property booking is necessary to access both units. No glassware is permitted at the edge of the poolside or in the pool, please only use plastic glasses in these areas. Food is strictly prohibited inside the pool. There are no railings on the bridge over the swimming pool or around the pool itself. Senior citizens and young children should be under supervision in these areas for their safety. There is no lifeguard on duty. Because the property is open-plan, birds, amphibians and insects may wander in. Keep windows and doors closed at all times. Electricity quality is erratic in the region. The villa has 100% power backup by genset in case of power cuts. During thunderstorms, please disconnect all electrical devices from wall sockets for safety.
