Leave your cars in the secure parking area, grab the key and relax from the moment you arrive. With room to spread out and socialise, Little Colebrooke is your perfect ‘get together’ spot. Choose to sleep upstairs or downstairs, decide who is going to light the log burner and get ready to enjoy some downtime. The huge orchard and fabulous outdoor space will keep dogs and children busy giving you time to light the firepit, star gaze and share stories about your day. You won’t want to leave. The space Little Colebrooke, the perfect place to relax with family or friends. Previous guests describe it as ‘a comfortable home from home'. The entrance has a tiled floor making it perfect for boots and coats following a dog walk. On entering there is a spa-style shower room and then two steps down into a utility room with sink and washing machine. Ahead is the downstairs bedroom, flexible enough to be either a twin room or a King room depending on your needs. Turning left and moving through a doorway, (another two steps down here) you find yourself in the large, bright and airy family kitchen. Whether you cook for pleasure or intend to have takeaways whilst you’re here, there’s room for everyone to gather round the table. The dishwasher and large fridge freezer make for an easy, chore free stay. The lounge is the next room and features an inglenook fireplace with log burner, comfy sofas and soft lighting. Up the carpeted stairs, there is a light and airy landing, with bedrooms off - a King and a Double. Both huge rooms with comfy beds, blackout blinds and curtains, heaps of storage and room in either for a travel cot. The upstairs bathroom has a spa-style feel with complimentary toiletries. The separate bath is a hit with many guests, others prefer to use the large, separate shower. A toilet and basin complete the room. With good Wi-Fi, if you need to work whilst you're here that's no problem. To help you enjoy the fresh air in Devon, there is a gorgeous pergola area with decking and a large table. It’s surrounded by festoon lighting, and planters – making it a great space day or night. Steps lead up to a huge secure orchard with plenty of space for dogs and children to run and play. You will most likely see rabbits and birds of prey whilst you are here, and you might like to use the firepit to toast some marshmallows. Situated in a rural area you will be amazed by the wonderful stars, lying in the orchard you can gaze at the night sky for ages. A truly relaxing spot. Guest access On arrival, there is a large gravelled car park area, with parking for 3 cars. This is shared with another holiday cottage. Within this area there is the recycling shed. To access Little Colebrooke you leave the gravelled area through the gates that you drove in through. The front door is the second brown door on the left, next to a sign saying Little Colebrooke. The door has a window in it. Outside, you have sole use of the pergola/decking area and the large orchard. In the orchard there is a patio area with furniture and a fire pit. Other things to note We have wild rabbits in the orchard area which may entertain some dogs and there is a steep bank in the land meaning that young children need to be supervised.
