The space YOUR PRIVATE WATERFRONT CABIN IN THE PINES Nestled beneath the Mogollon Rim in Payson, Arizona, this peaceful East Verde Waterfront cabin is surrounded by towering Ponderosa pines and nature. Located on a private one-acre property with approximately 300 feet of riverfront, the cabin offers a secluded forest setting while still being within driving distance of Payson. With temperatures typically about 20 degrees cooler than Phoenix, it’s a refreshing Arizona mountain getaway year-round. COMFORT & CLIMATE Stay comfortable in every season with mini-split air conditioning and heat, plus in-wall heaters in every bedroom and the bathroom. FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, basic cooking essentials, spices, oils, condiments, a traditional coffee maker, and a Keurig coffee maker. Please note: there is no dishwasher. OUTDOOR LIVING Enjoy the natural surroundings from the screened-in porch or large deck overlooking the East Verde River. The outdoor space includes a porch heater and propane BBQ grill, making it easy to enjoy the river and forest in cooler weather. RELAX & ENTERTAIN The family room features a Frame TV with streaming apps, Sonos sound system, board games, puzzles, and playing cards—perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking and exploring. GUEST CAPACITY & SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS The cabin accommodates up to 4 guests under the standard occupancy limit. Up to 5 guests may be permitted under special circumstances (infants and small children) with prior approval. The cabin has 3 private bedrooms with 4 beds: 🛏️ 1 queen bed 🛏️ 1 full-size bed 🛏️ 2 twin beds The sleeping configuration makes the cabin especially well suited for families or small groups of up to 4 guests seeking a private riverfront cabin in the Payson, Arizona area. Extra blankets and pillows are available for chilly mountain nights. BATHROOM & LAUNDRY One bathroom with a large walk-in shower, fresh linens and towels, and provided soap and shampoo. Laundry room with washer and dryer. EXPLORE THE AREA Hiking trails are within one mile, with numerous opportunities for hiking, fishing, waterfalls, mountain biking, wildlife viewing, and exploring the Mogollon Rim and Payson area nearby. WIFI & ESSENTIALS WiFi/internet access is provided, along with toilet paper, paper towels, and other basic household essentials. A welcome book provides information about the cabin and local attractions. IMPORTANT TO KNOW 🛒 The nearest services are approximately 15 miles away. We recommend bringing groceries, medications, and other supplies you may need during your stay. 👶 The cabin is not baby-proofed. Children require close and continuous adult supervision. 🐾 No pets of any kind are permitted, including emotional support animals (ESAs). Guest access The entire house is available. 👥 Maximum occupancy: 4 guests total. There is a $40 fee for each additional guest over 3, per stay. We will make special acceptation to a fifth guest (infants or extra small child) upon request. Fee will apply. 🚫 No additional visitors or events permitted. Please watch children around water.
