A caretaker who lives on site guarantees the proper functioning of the building. The studio consists of a small hallway, a living room (open space that houses the kitchen area and the living room area) and a shower room with toilet. In the hallway, the closet is at your disposal, inside is stored an extra duvet (in case you need it, even if during the winter the studio is very well heated!). The kitchen area consists of a counter, stove, electric oven, kettle, toaster, fridge and small freezer. You will also find pots, cutlery, plates, glasses, placemats... and, for lovers of Japanese cuisine, a sushi set for two people! Not to mention the irreplaceable Italian coffee makers! The sofa bed is easy to open and very comfortable. The mattress (140 x 190 cm) is of very good quality. Wi-Fi is free and the TV, with freebox subscription, is on the wall facing the sofa bed, so you can watch your favorite shows sitting on the sofa or lying on the bed. For those of you who have a predilection for reading or travel, the shelves of the two libraries are filled with Italian and French novels whose stories take place in Paris (or elsewhere!) and tourist books. If you need to wash your laundry, the washing machine, laundry detergent and iron are at your disposal. The washing machine is also a dryer, so you won't need to hang out your laundry. The studio is south-facing, so it is very bright. The thermal curtains are blackout, to protect you from light during the night and outdoor temperatures. A fan will also help you in case of high temperatures. The view of the Paris sky is very beautiful and not overlooked (the building just opposite has two floors) but remember that we are on the sixth floor, so BEWARE FOR ALL THOSE WHO SUFFER FROM VERTIGO! The studio is a 5-minute walk from the characteristic Butte aux Cailles district, with its restaurants, bistros and pretty Sunday market. At the Butte aux Cailles you will discover the real neighborhood life in Paris and a very pleasant atmosphere for your night out. You can therefore eat after a long day of sightseeing by walking downstairs from your accommodation and dining on site; from the crêperie to the more elegant restaurant, everything you could possibly want is at your fingertips!
