Enjoy your stay in Basel in this quiet and spacious private attic room with a seperate entrance which belongs to this beautiful and and central apartment. From here you can reach Messeplatz (e.g. Art Basel) within 5 minutes by foot. Ist a 7 min walk to the river Rhein and to grocery stores, 10 min to the inner city. Our apartment is downstairs and you can use all shared spaces (bathroom with shower, kitchen and a nice balcony with a sofa and table) with us. The space The attic room and apartment are the ideal place to find peace and relaxation during the vibrant Art Basel. Rooms are furnished with a cozy mix of design and vintage furniture. We want our guests to feel comfortable and attach great importance to cleanliness. In addition to a private, quiet bedroom with its own private toilet, a shared bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and the use of the balcony are included in the rent. There is a separate entrance to this room, as the room is one floor higher than the apartment. The space concretely RESTORATIVE SLEEPING The private bedroom (attic room) is located on the side of the quiet courtyard. There is a separate entrance to this room, as the room is one floor higher than the apartment. The double bed with the 2 orthopedic mattresses (90x200cm) is a guarantee of a good night's sleep. A large closet offers space for your luggage and a height-adjustable desk offers space for any work on the PC. KITCHEN The kitchen is fully equipped. Espresso machine, toaster, dishwasher etc are available. In addition, we provide organic espresso, organic teas and mineral water. The small bistro table can accommodate up to 3 people, for example, to enjoy a quick breakfast. BATH In the daylight bathroom there is tub/ shower, sink and toilet. Another private toilet is located on the upper floor (outside the apartment). BALCONY The covered balcony is the perfect place to enjoy the day or evening in the fresh air. Table and chairs offer space to eat meals and on the sofa or lounge chair, it relaxes fantastically with views of the countryside. Kitchen, bathroom and balcony are common areas. We're expected to be in the apartment. However, we may also be on vacation for a few days during Art Basel, during this time these areas are available to guests alone. In summer, it can also get quite warm in Basel. Since the room is under the roof, we have an air conditioner that can be placed in the room if necessary. Wifi, towels and linens are provided free of charge. Our health-conscious guests appreciate our slow juicer and the powerful blender. How to start the new day with a fresh juice or smoothie vitamingo. Guest access The fair Basel can be reached on foot in about 4-5 minutes. The nearest public stop is 3 mins away. Wettsteinquartier is a quiet neighborhood where mainly families live. In 5-10 minutes on foot you can reach cafes, bars, restaurants, bakeries or supermarkets. Our road is quite wide and airy. Despite its width, it is very quiet, as little traffic is initiated here (the parallel roads are much more frequented, as here the traffic is directed from the northeast to the city). Parking is possible in the neighborhood, but for a fee. If you arrive by car, we will be happy to provide information about the best parking options. During your stay We will probably be in the apartment during Art Basel. If we leave for a few days, it will only be after instruction in the apartment. After that, of course, we will always be available by phone. Other things to note The attic room is rented and the common areas are expected to be shared with us. If we are traveling for a few days we will lock the private rooms as we will keep personal items there. We usually live in this apartment, so there are also personal items and food in the apartment when renting over the trade fair time. However, we will clear and clean enough space for your items in all rooms. We have a good house community in the house, know all our neighbors and cultivate a respectful approach. Therefore, we also ask for respectful use of the house (observance of rest periods, etc.). We are not professional landlords, but provide our private apartment for special occasions such as Art Basel. However, we will do our best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We ourselves know from many trips which aspects are needed for a relaxing stay and want to implement these experiences positively for our guests.
