My husband and I own this duplex and have had the downstairs unit renovated and upgraded in 2023. We prioritized brightness and coziness and chose colours and details to support this. We love to host and love our neighbourhood and have tons of recommendations! The condo is located right across the street from the historic Lachine Canal, as well as Lac Saint Louis. The space Please note: The property has three (3) cameras: (1) overlooking the entrance to the unit and the recycling area only, (2) overlooking the backyard and (3) our door has a ring doorbell. The entire unit, except the bathroom and kitchen was renovated in 2023. It has a private entrance and contains 3 closed bedrooms: 2 designated bedrooms (each with a queen size bed) and 1 designated workspace. The master bedroom has two pocket doors and can be opened up to let more light into the living space. There is an additional bedroom which will remain locked for storage during your stay. The kitchen and bathroom were renovated in 2013, with some upgrades made in 2023 (new toilet, new appliances, new faucets, etc). The kitchen contains a new washer, dryer, oven and dishwasher (purchased in 2023). The fridge has been meticulously cleaned and is in great shape! The bathroom is small but clean and bright! We installed a heat pump in 2023 which keeps the unit fresh on hot summer days and warm and cozy when it's cold out. The unit also has electrical heating in each room, but we recommend using the heat pump. The condo has its own back patio that opens off of the kitchen. Please see guest access for more details about the backyard. Guest access The entire condo is yours with the exception of the 1 locked storage room. If you need to use the room to store items during your stay, please just let us know! Just be aware that we will lock the room, so if you need access to it again, we will have to come and open it for you. You have your own entrance as well as a balcony in the backyard. Full use of backyard is available upon request (i.e, if you'd like to use our bigger patio table, we can accommodate) Other things to note Parking: - Our street is reserved for permit holders. The city sells daily parking passes which we are happy to help coordinate for you. We can acquire them on your behalf and you will be responsible for payment (they are approximately 6$ per day. We will share the receipt with you). Please not this does involve changing the pass on your car every day. We can share more details if interested! - There are free municipal parking lots near by. We can point you in that direction! Other: - No smoking or vaping in the property. Vaping only, is permitted in the backyard.
