Tucked into the foothills of the Howgill Fells, beside the River Lune, Pool House is a grade 2 listed, renovated Farmhouse. The Dales Way/Lune ‘drop in’, is on the doorstep. We offer a ‘homestay’ experience for walkers/kayakers/peace seekers. 10 mins from M6 junction 37/38 Here you will find rest for your weary limbs, river dips for the brave, home cooked nourishment (2 course dinner an option) and a comfortable nights sleep in an ensuite double room, Mill View. The space We have two cosy, ensuite bedrooms (see our other listing - Howgills View) Breakfast is included - homemade sourdough and marmalade, Steve's delicious overnight oats or hot Porridge, a range of cereals or we can provide a basket of local produce for you to cook your own breakfast (bacon, sausages, eggs) if you wish. There is also the option of sharing a 2 course evening meal with us around our table. (additional cost payable on arrival.)
