The space Our basement apartment is a cool and cared for area with a spacious and connected living room, dining room and kitchen, a separate bedroom with a workspace, and washer dryer unit in a separate room. Guest access 1 set of keys are provided. There are three locks for the quest to manage during their stay. Other things to note Our Space is best suited for those who don’t mind using steps everyday. We have a full-sized bed and a favorite sofa for relaxing. A private washer and dryer make it ideal for quick business stays, or extended visits with family. A full kitchen will also allow you to make this place your temporary home. Air conditioning is installed for the Summer. The basement is very cool already, and we provide an extra standing fan for your comfort. During Spring and Summer months New York can get humid. We ask guests leave the dehumidifier on. It will self empty. The circuit breaker resides within the guest bedroom. It is within a closet with a green mirror on it. If electricity goes out in any part of the house because of a storm, or some other unforeseen reason, the Host will need to access this panel. This is a task for only the host so you have a trouble free stay. You’ve been provided with three keys to the apartment. We do not use the interior door, while guests are here. For added peace of mind, we have 5 Blink motion-sensor cameras around the outside of the property. We kindly ask guests to only park in front of our house, in the space provided. When waiting for a ride share, please wait on the side of our house by our driveway entry. Enough detergent for 3 loads has been preloaded into the machine for you. You do not need to add any extra. Lastly, please limit alcohol consumption while here because we are a relatively quiet couple, and quite honestly, that’s when most mishaps happen. It’s a safe and quiet area and we take great care of the home. Extra blankets and towels are in the bedroom. And if you need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
