On vacation at the farm!

Enjoy a lovely, quiet place to relax with the family and experience the outdoors. The accommodation is neatly cared for and equipped with every comfort. Freshly made beds and towels are included. We look forward to welcoming you and introducing you – if you like – to life on our farm. The space Recently modernized single-family home with 3 bedrooms, spacious kitchen and living room, large garden and private parking space. The house is beautifully and rurally located on the grounds of a dairy farm in the outskirts of Elsloo. The Drents-Friese Wold National Park and the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Koloniën van Weldadigheid, are only a few kilometers away. And the water region village of Giethoorn is easily accessible (approx. 30 minutes drive). In the immediate vicinity, there are plenty of opportunities for relaxation and recreation for young and old: hiking, biking, nature experiences and various excursions. I would be happy to give you tips for the various excursions. Layout Ground floor: Spacious hall. Bright eat-in kitchen (approx. 16 m²) equipped with combi-oven, fridge, dishwasher, 5-burner gas hob, extractor hood, filter coffee maker and Dolce Gusto (bring your own cups). From the kitchen, there is direct access to the terrace. Spacious living room (approx. 32 m²) with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Modern bathroom with vanity unit, walk-in shower, washer/dryer. Hall with access to the basement and staircase to the first floor. The entire ground floor has underfloor heating with a laminate floor. First floor Landing with access to three bedrooms of approx. 14 sq.m, 9 sq.m and 7 sq.m, all with (built-in) closets. Outdoor Area The terrace (approx. 30 m²) is located on the southwest side. Garden furniture can be moved to the front yard (grass) if desired. There is parking for two cars. During your stay, you can use the barbecue for free. We appreciate it if you leave it clean after use for the next guests. Guest access Entire house with terrace and very spacious garden. Soccer/playing is allowed on the lawn in front of the house. Our dairy farm is located on the same property, but you have a lot of privacy in and around the vacation home! Of course, you are welcome – by arrangement – to take a look at our cows, calves and Frisian horses. For safety reasons, it is not permitted to enter the farm on your own initiative. Other things to note On our farm, there is always something going on. The animals make themselves heard and the daily work continues as usual. It is therefore possible that you occasionally hear sounds, such as the mooing of cows and calves or the use of a tractor. That is part of farm life and makes your stay extra special. However, the house is well insulated, so you can especially enjoy peace and comfort indoors.
