The Puffball Lodge Woodland Cabin in East Sussex

Kick off your shoes and snuggle up in the Puffball Lodge at Bracken Woods. Immersed in the sounds and sights of the woodland, quickly feel the worries and pressures of the outside world melt away. Fully equipped and with stylish furnishings the Puffball Lodge is perfect for weekend getaways and longer stays. If you fancy venturing out there are two great pubs serving excellent food within walking distance and this is a great spot from which to explore all that East Sussex and Kent have to offer. The space Located in the High Weald AONB near the Ashdown Forest, the Puffball Lodge is nestled in 4 acres of private woodland. A perfect getaway in all seasons, the woodland offers bluebells in spring and a wide variety of mushrooms, particularly in autumn. The lodge is heated making it a cosy option in the winter months too. We have a projector from which you can log in to your own Netflix, prime video and you tube accounts so there is plenty to keep you entertained in the cabin if you choose to snuggle down rather than venture out. Tunbridge Wells and Brighton are both approximately a 30 minute drive away and Hastings and St Leonard’s approximately 50 minutes. London is 1hr 15 minutes on the train and it is a short 15 minute walk from Buxted Station to the Puffball Lodge. Other local attractions include Sheffield Park, Hever and Bodiam Castles and the Bluebell Railway. Guest access We are located at the end of Redbrook Lane and there is free parking. Redbrook Lane is a bit bumpy but fine for the average car. The lodge and the woodland are yours to enjoy and explore for the duration of your stay.
