All we ask is that guests treat the annexe area & furniture respectfully as they would their own home & leave it clean and tidy, removing any rubbish before departing & not wearing outdoor shoes inside. Please note, there are to be no additional guests on the premises, including visitors, without prior permission. Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed. Other things to note This is a great base to put your walking boots on & clear your head with hikes up into the Surrey Hills (on a sunny day you can see the sea shining in the Shoreham Gap from Holmbury Hill). Stunning vistas are available at nearby Pitch Hill which is walkable from the house - with an optional drinks break at the Hurtwood Inn on the way down! Leith Hill & Box Hill are also close by. Or meander amongst the ancient woodland of the National Trust's Abinger Roughs, go wine tasting at Albury Organic Vineyard, sample the locally distilled Silent Pool Gin on their sunny terrace or walk across the fields to one of the picturesque local villages or country pubs where you can sit outside & enjoy the views. If cycling is your passion, there are lots of routes from the doorstep & mountain bike trails in the Hurtwood that start from Peaslake village. For a pre or post-holiday pitstop, Heathrow & Gatwick Airports are around a 40 minute drive away. There is also a train link to Gatwick Airport from nearby Gomshall station.
