Enjoy your morning coffee on lg front porch or enclosed back porch. Sandy beach area is less than a mile. Just 1.5 hours east from downtown Dallas. 5 min from charming downtown Mineola with shops and dining options. 10 min away from Mineola Nature Preserve & 30 min away from Canton Trade Days. 30 min away from Lake Fork. The space Keep in mind that you are staying on a sandy lake & heavily-wooded area...what I'm really saying is DON'T BRING YOUR FAVORITE SHOES 🌳🏞 Also, keep in mind that being in a heavily-wooded area, there's lots of types of insects. There's bug spray on the back porch. However, if you have a preference, please grab yours to bring with you. Guest access There is a remote entry lock on front door that you will be sent a code for entry. Additionally, if for any reason that should fail, please call me for code to a lockbox with a key to the back door. The entire cabin is for your enjoyment. Some cell phone carriers do not have good reception inside the cabin due to metal roof & trees. Try turning on WiFi calling in your phone settings. This usually resolves any issues. There are 2 dogs that may visit you. A black lab (Addi) . She’s very friendly. We live in the area & she likes to visit the cabin periodically. There may be a second visitor too named “Russell”. He’s a medium size white dog that’s extremely friendly. If they bother you, please let me know!
