Only minutes from the great mountain town of Burnsville and just 45 minutes from Asheville. There are thousands of miles of hikes a very short distance away. Please be advised that the club amenities are not included with this property rental. The space We are going on 5 years of owning this property and take every opportunity we have to come stay here. The moment we stepped through the door we fell in love with it and know you will too. We absolutely love all the mountains of western North Carolina have to offer and realize it doesn’t get much better than this! This property offers you a real opportunity to put down the technology and enjoy the peacefulness of nature. Given if you do want to work while here there is very fast and reliable internet. ;-) Due to the 4,300’ elevation there is always a great breeze and very cool air even in the heat of the summer. While we are here we never close the windows and don’t find a need for the air conditioning. For example; the average temperature in July is 72° with relatively low humidity. The property is nearly at the top of the mountain so the views are some of the best for all of Mountain Air! Mountain Air, if you aren’t familiar, is a private gated community amongst the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is just above the quaint mountain town of Burnsville. Guest access Guests are permitted access to the entire unit. Note there is a basement with another bedroom and bath. It is not occupied and not permitted to be used by guests. Other things to note Please note: we have two dogs that accompany us on our visits but everything is cleaned very thoroughly prior to our departure. If you have pet allergies please be aware.
