Provender: beautiful views and intimate comfort

Provender is a typical wood-framed farm building, clad in weather boarding outside and tongue and groove inside. It sits at the highest point of the farmland and its french doors open onto glorious views of ancient woodland and distant fields. Its small proportions belie the facilities it offers. This is the perfect cottage for weekends and short breaks … end your day in beautiful Sussex with a glass of wine on the deck as the shadows lengthen across the fields. The space The smallest of the cottages: a typical wood-framed farm building. The main room has french doors that open onto a glorious view of ancient woodland and fields. It has a two ring hob, microwave, toaster and kettle above an under surface fridge, with freezer compartment. The bathroom has toilet, basin and walk-in shower. There is a boot rack and two bike stands just outside the front door. Guest access Provender is in the farmstead of Old Church Farm. There are two other cottages and our farmhouse in the farmstead. All are separate and not directly overlooking each other. You can use the grounds but please be mindful of others' privacy. The barbeque area is shared by and central to the three cottages. Other things to note No fireworks: we have a thatched house, dogs and of course, masses of wildlife. No smoking or vaping in the building. You are welcome to smoke outside. Please do not invite guests or hold parties without checking with us. Provender is for two people.
