The space A STAY FOR ALL SEASONS Some places just have the right feeling the moment you walk in. This beautifully restored 1860s Vermont farmhouse is one of them — wide-plank floors, historic bones, modern comforts, and the kind of settled-in warmth that makes you want to stay one more night. The village of North Bennington is a short stroll away, and the 280-acre Mile Around Woods is literally across the road. Vermont, delivered directly to the doorstep. Spring The trails through the Mile Around Woods come back to life before most people think to visit — which means you'll have them largely to yourself. The hills turn a shade of green that doesn't exist anywhere else, the village wakes back up, and there's something genuinely satisfying about being here before the summer crowds catch on. Summer Summer turns the farmhouse porch into the best room in the house. Morning coffee with farm fields in front of you, evenings with the grill going and the fire pit lit as the hills go golden. The trails are lush, the dogs are in heaven, and the village is at its most alive. Bike to the covered bridges, explore the Park McCullough Estate, or simply slow down and enjoy the season. Autumn Fall does that thing in Vermont that people drive hours to see — and here, you wake up inside it. The hills turn amber and rust and that particular shade of red that makes everyone reach for their phone. Walk the trails as the leaves come down, wander into the village for cider, and end the evening around the fire pit under a sky full of stars. Winter Wake to snow-dusted fields and that quiet mountain hush. Bromley Mountain is 20 minutes away — easygoing for beginners, genuinely fun for everyone else. Back at the farmhouse, hang the mittens, put a pot on the stove, and settle in for slow evenings that actually feel like a break. The Mile Around Woods trail is right across the street when you're ready to wander again. Evenings at the Farmhouse Fire pit crackling, hills going dark, someone tending the vintage charcoal grill as the night settles in. Inside, a record drops onto the player, the Marshall speaker finds its volume, and the evening stretches out longer than you planned. That's the idea. The Farmhouse 2 Bedrooms · 2.5 Bathrooms · 1,700 sq ft Bedrooms Both Queen bedrooms are private with their own ensuite bath and walk-in shower — one downstairs, one up. Kitchen Fully equipped with stainless appliances, a full-size range and oven, and everything you need to cook a great meal. Farm-fresh ingredients from Powers Market are less than a mile away. Entertainment Rocket-fast WiFi, 4K Smart TV with all the usual streaming, a Marshall Bluetooth speaker, and a vintage record player for when you want the evening to feel like something special. The front porch is a wonderful place to enjoy it all. The Property An expansive front deck with countryside views, a fire pit with complimentary wood, and a vintage charcoal grill stocked with clean-burn charcoal — the kind of outdoor setup that makes it hard to head inside. Dogs Two dogs under 75 lbs are very welcome here. The Mile Around Woods trail and a dedicated off-leash field are right across the road. ($50/stay fee applies.) Cancellation Please review our cancellation policy before booking. Airbnb's travel insurance is worth considering if you'd like extra flexibility. The Neighborhood Tucked on a quiet country road, the farmhouse sits steps from the Mile Around Woods trailhead and the historic Park McCullough Estate — with the village of North Bennington less than a mile down tree-lined streets. That walk into town is worth taking. Prospect Coffeehouse for your morning coffee, Powers Market for fresh Vermont provisions, and Pangea for dinner when you'd rather someone else do the cooking. Three historic covered bridges are a short bike ride away when you're ready to explore a little further. Small village, big charm. You'll see what we mean.
