Cozy waterfront cottage

Pure nature and relaxing cottage life in Anttola near Mikkeli city. The cottage is located at the end of a small dirt road, on the west bank of a 2km long pond which provides beautiful evening sun. Traditional wood-fired sauna and pier where you can dip for a swim. Surrounded by forests providing seasonal delicacies, ie. blueberries. Sleeping arrangements: loft has 2 proper beds (each 80cm wide) and a smaller "guest bed", a sofa bed downstairs and one 120cm wide bed in the small hut outside. The space There is electricity in the cottage, so charging your devices and cooking is easy. There is a wide variety of cooking utensils and cutlery in the kitchen and a gas-fired grill outside. There is also a fire place and electric heaters in the cottage to guarantee comfortable stay also in case of colder weather. Beds are separated to the loft (two 80cm wide beds that can be pulled together and one smaller "guest bed"), downstairs (a sofa bed) and outside hut (one 120cm wide bed). It is also possible to rent a Tentsile hammoc-tent from me if you wish to experience sleeping outside in the nature. Although there are more beds, I prefer groups of maximum four people for comfortability of my guests. If you would like to book my cottage for a larger group send a message and it can be arranged. There are tea towels in the kitchen and a sauna bench cover provided by me for each stay (also one-use sauna bench covers available). Bathing towels and sheets are available for an extra cost. Kindly note that there is no running water in the cottage. Upon arrival there is one full drinking water container (approx 5 litres) in the cabin. It can be filled for free in the Sale-grocery store in the town center (12km from the cabin) or naturally you can also buy water from grocery stores. For sauna and washing up water is carried from the pond with buckets. Sauna is heated with fire wood which is included in the price. For swimming the shore gets deep quite fast so I recommend this cottage for adults and children that already know how to swim. The toilet is composting outhouse, and has a hand washing station right outside of it. Compost bedding is provided. I can also provided extra services such as bringing breakfast to the cottage, picking up dirty dishes and machine washing them and bringing a basket full of vegetables from my own garden. For more info of this you can just send me a message before or during your stay. Guest access The cottage is completely in guests own private use. In addition to that the sleeping hut, fire wood storage and outhouse-toilet are in guests private use. There is also a private view-point lean-to on top a big stone hill nearby which guests can use (location and map in the cottage). Guests can also freely use a rowing boat located by the pond. Two safety vests are provided for those rowing adventures as well as traditional wishing rods if you wish to try your luck fishing. Other things to note Smoking inside and close to the front doors of the buildings is strictly forbidden. Bathing towels and sheets can be provided for a small fee, tea towels in the kitchen and cover for the sauna bench are included to all bookings.
