Perfect starting point to visit Marseille, while enjoying a large and peaceful house, with shaded terraces and Mediterranean garden. The house can accommodate 7 people. It is at the beginning of Roucas Blanc, a very popular neighborhood. Close to beaches and the center. Access is via a steep alley and a few stairs. Not suitable for people with disabilities. The space The house is absolutely quiet. Both perched and hidden in one of the valleys of which Marseille has the secret, sloping - almost gently - towards the beaches and the Old Port. Its surface area is 110 sq. m. It is surrounded by a fully enclosed Mediterranean garden and has two large shaded terraces, one with a unique view of ND de la Garde. It consists of a large living space, with an open kitchen and a friendly table, three bedrooms (two double beds, three single beds) and two bathrooms (one on each floor). The place is ideal for a family stay in a safe and warm atmosphere, close to the center. We live there all year round with our two boys, and leave the house for rent whenever we go away. Facing north, it enjoys exceptional brightness and views, without being crushed by the sun. However, we remind you, it can be very hot in Marseille IMPORTANT POINT: • The house has no air conditioning. TRANSPORTATION: • Coming from the Old Port, bus 55 will drop you off close to the house. Guest access • Access is via a staircase of about twenty steps and you will have to take a sloping alley to get to the house. Not suitable for people with limited mobility. • Our garage can be made available to you. It is a 10-minute walk from the house, in a garage and in a gated community. • We usually drive to our house, but we advise against doing so: the street is narrow and winding! To drop off your luggage, choose to park at the top of it and walk down. Other things to note • We provide sheets and towels. • The place is non-smoking. Please do not throw your cigarette butts in the garden or in the trash cans of the house. • No animals allowed. • Furniture must not be moved. • Many books are at your disposal. Enjoy them, but don't take them with you! This is my work tool: it is precious to me. • We love our garden. Please respect it and do not empty it of its possible flowers or fruits. • Parties, shoots and filming are strictly prohibited. • It is also forbidden to make a fire: you are in an area that is ultra sensitive to fires. • Any incident, breakage or damage that affects the house, furniture or equipment must be reported as soon as possible. • Guests are responsible for replacing broken items. • Repairs made necessary by negligence or poor maintenance during the rental will be the responsibility of the guests. • Cleaning is included but we would appreciate it if you could empty the garbage, do the dishes and leave the accommodation tidy as it was when you arrived. • In the event that the keys are not returned or are lost, a complete lock change will be made at your expense. It is mandatory to ensure the safety of the accommodation and that of future guests. We welcome you to the house where we live.
