Welcome to our cosy 1 bedroom ground floor annexe apartment, nestled in the heart of the lovely village of Pennard/Southgate. Located just a short walk to Pennard Castle, the stunning Three Cliffs Bay and Pobbles. Along with a golf club and course, local pub, cafes and convenience stores, a park, library and chemist. A perfect starting point for exploring Gower and beyond, we offer a parking space right outside and are a 1 minute walk to the bus stop which offers routes to and around Swansea. The space With self check-in, you will have your own side access, leading to a newly renovated 1 bedroom apartment. Inside you can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, including an oven, gas stove top, microwave, coffee machine, fridge with small freezer compartment, kettle and toaster. An open plan lounge and dining area with a 2 seater sofa to cosy up on and enjoy the smart TV. The bedroom consists of two super comfy single beds with bedside table and lamp. Under-bed storage and a small set of drawers along with radiator, mirror and hangers. Complete with towels and linen, you have your own private shower room that is accessible via a shared hallway. This is fully equipped with a toilet, basin and shower with shower curtain. We recommend the beautiful walk across Pennard Golf links to Pennard Castle starting just minutes from your accommodation. From here you can experience the unforgettable view down to Three Cliffs Bay, check out the tide book in your accommodation to see if it’s a high tide during your stay. You won’t want to miss the valley being flooded! We would love for your dog to stay with us too! Please let us know if they are coming so we can include them in the welcome basket! Please note: we have a no smoking policy! Guest access Your self contained annexe apartment is all one level on the ground floor. There is a step at the entrance only. Inside you will find an open plan diner, lounge, kitchen equipped with every thing you will need. There is a double bedroom with two single beds, with storage under the beds as well as hanging areas with coat hangers and two small sets of drawers. Your bathroom is off a shared entrance way which can be seen in the photos. This is lockable from the inside and outside, the same as your private door to Foxhole annexe. Other things to note Table tennis table on request - please let us know if you would like us to put the table up for your prior to your arrival or anytime during your stay. Local amenities within walking distance: * Pennard golf link is a 1 minute walk from the property, with Pennard Golf Club a further 10 minute walk. * A convenience store which usually has a lovely weekly delivery of fresh fruit and vegetables is a 2 minute walk from the property. * Several bus stops and post boxes are within a 1 minute walk. * The local Primary School, Nursery and Library are around a 10 minute walk away. * The local doctors surgery and chemist are situated next to the library, with a 10 minute walk away. * There is a park and playing fields a further 2 minute walk away from the library. * Moving into the village of Southgate you will find a small cafe paired with a florist that operate out of one premises called ‘The Hub’. This is a 15 minute walk from the property. * Situated just a few doors up is ‘The Southgate’, a pub/club that welcomes every one and does lovely meals. * There is a car service station located in Southgate just a 4 minute drive away, next door to this is Pobbles Pizza which offers the tastiest homemade pizzas from around the world! * Just a little further up the road next to the round about is Three Cliffs Coffee Shop which included a post office and convenience store. • Northway Petrol Station and Garage is just 1.9miles away and a 6 minute drive. They also have some gifts and groceries in store. • There is a small co-op just a 7 minute drive away in the village of Bishopston, this is usually open daily 7-10pm. • Kittle is the next village over from Pennard, on the way to Swansea. It is a minute drive and has a local bakery that opens early, a hair dressers and surf shop. There is also a garden shop and the Beaufort pub which offers meals all day. Kittle is accessible on the main bus route.
