Noa & Olivier The space The property includes: • A small bedroom with a comfortable 160x200 convertible bed, wood stove, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and basic tableware (2 large plates, 2 small plates, 2 cups, 2 glasses, cutlery for 2 people) • A kitchenette with everything needed to prepare simple meals • An adjoining Finnish sauna • A cold plunge bath (empty in summer depending on temperatures) • A covered outdoor terrace (may be less comfortable in bad weather or winter) • A private bathroom in our main chalet (access from outside), with a mini fridge What we provide: • 2 bath towels • 2 sauna towels • 2 bathrobes • 2 pairs of slippers • Bed linen • Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, dish soap • Tea, coffee, cream, sugar • BBQ available (charcoal generally not provided; firewood can be used) Guest access • By train + walking: from Les Cheseaux stop, follow the slightly uphill paved road located to the left of the waste disposal area. Allow about 20 minutes on foot. • On foot from St-Cergue: you can also reach the chalet through the forest trail. Allow 40–50 minutes walking time. • By car: direct access to the chalet. In summer, please park in front of the garage (leave space in front of the garage door). In winter, please use the public parking located above the property in case of snow. Other things to note Before you book: • A very simple kitchenette is now available. It allows you to prepare basic meals. We kindly ask guests to carefully read and follow the usage instructions (especially regarding dishwashing and grey water disposal, to protect the installations). However, we strongly recommend local restaurants as well as simple meals such as BBQ or raclette. • There is no automatic heating in the bedroom: it is heated only with the wood stove. The accommodation is not pre-heated before arrival unless we are on site and you request it in advance. The bathroom, however, is heated (underfloor heating + radiator). • The bathroom is accessed via a short outdoor passage of about 4 meters. • The accommodation is located in a corner of our garden, in a small residential area at the edge of the forest. We are often away, and when present we remain discreet. However, there is some proximity to neighbouring houses. • Late check-out (a few extra hours) is possible depending on availability, at 10 CHF per hour. Please contact us in advance. • The sauna and bedroom stove are ready to be lit upon arrival: one match and you’re good to go :) • In very strong wind, the cabin may slightly “sing”. If you are sensitive to noise, we recommend bringing earplugs. • For longer stays, please keep in mind the small size of the accommodation and fridge. • Our garden is your garden, feel free to enjoy it ! • We recommend light luggage, as access is not suitable for large suitcases. • In summer, a private parking space is available in front of the garage (about 20 m from the cabin). In winter or snow conditions, please use the public parking about 35 m away. For guests with dogs: • Your four-legged friend is welcome! • The garden can be used for their needs, please clean up after them. • In case of shedding, a quick clean-up is appreciated. • If your dog is wet, please avoid letting them onto the bed to prevent stains.
