Newly renovated guest house/barn

Here you find a spacious guest house for two in a unique setting close to the city of Malmö and Copenhagen. Within 10 minutes you reach Hyllie station that takes you to Copenhagen and Kastrup airport in 15min. We have created a modern guesthouse where we have taken care of every square meter with an eye for the details. We also welcome you into our 100 year old Swedish garden. With apple, pear trees and other fruits to sample. Close to the city with the benefit of open and beautiful countryside The space The guest house is a old barn that we turned into a guest house. It is modern with everything you wish from a home. The family living there is Jenny, working as an architect, Bevan in construction and our daugher Ester. The passion is the garden, interior design and renovation. Sleeping: There is a beautiful sleeping loft available for sleeping with double bed, 160cm, a chest of drawer and hanging possibilities for cloths if needed. The bed have double quilts and 4x pillows available. It is not possible to separate the beds on the loft due to space. Host provides bedlinen. The space is an open space living and it is not possible to cover all the windows. Bathroom: There is one bathroom in the guest house, with shower, wc and sink. There is also possible to store toilet bag etc. Host provides towels. Livingroom: Here you find 1x 3 seats sofa with additional seating areas, a small coffee table. We have also placed a dining table with 2 chairs for you to enjoy the meals in the guest house. Kitchenette: In the kitchenette you find everything needed to cook a good meal. Please feel free to look in the cabinets and use what you find. There is a fridge, small freezer and an oven. There is also a Nespresso machine to brew a good coup off coffee, water boiler and a toaster. Laundry: There is not a laundry machine in the guest house. If you need to do laundry a machine is possible to use in the main house against additional cost. Is the tap water drinkable? Yes, the water in possible to drink and it taste lovely. Cooling: There is unfortunately no air condition (typical Sweden) but the house is well isolated and have good ventilation and usually stays cold during the summer and warm during the winter. Everything is renovated in 2024 with high quality. We wanted to create something extra, a beautiful space to relax and enjoy. Guest access The Garden We have a large beautiful garden you can enjoy. When we moved here a few years ago the garden was partly destroyed by a fire and partly overgrown after years of neglection. We are slowly working on bringing this beautiful garden back to life and there is a lot their already. Please pick flowers and enjoy what you can eat in the garden if there is anything ready during your stay. We have loads off fruit trees, strawberries, vegetable garden etc. Other things to note Västra Klagstorp is a small village 2km South of Malmö. In the village you find Västra Klagstorps church that was build 1880th. The tower of the old church from 1100th was saved when the new church was built. In the village there is around 300 people living. Today the village have grown together with the village next door, Tygelsjö. In the village you find schools, pre-schools, hairdresser, supermarket, bakery, pizzeria and restaurant within walking distance. There is a busstop right infront of the property with traffic every 15 minute. In Västra Klagstorp you also find a lovely old farm called Kvarndala where local people come together to do gardening, you also find a museum and old photos from the village. At Kvarndala they also arrange nice flea markets and auctions in the weekends (not every weekend so you need to look up when its on) We love this little village and when you live here it feels like you are far away from the city, but Malmö is just a bike ride away. Free parking in connection with the guest house. We have bikes to rent on request.
