The Goat House - Sweet Pea’s Room

This studio hits the sweet spot for contractors working away from home, travelers headed up to Lake Tahoe or honeymooners!! (short and long term stays available!) Sweet Pea’s room is a private studio with inside (key to lock door) and outside access on the bottom floor of our home. So privacy! You have your own kitchenette, private bath with shower and counter to work/eat at. The Queen log bed has a comfy mattress, & clean bedding. “The Goat House” where you are a welcomed traveler!! The space This is a beautiful Tahoe esq. cabin on 3 acres. Enjoy the walking trails behind the house or hang out in the 2 person hammock. The friendly goats love to be fed peanuts and get a good scratch! If you are a hiker or mountain biker- there is a trail directly to the American River from this neighborhood! The hike takes about an hour and by the time you hit the private beach on the river, you will have descended 900 feet. Take a picnic lunch and make a day of it! This is a beautiful, quiet, & safe, neighborhood that you will want to experience! Guest access There is an outside front door that leads to your own private front door to the studio. (Sweet Pea’s Room). You also have a sliding glass door to outside access, back yard, hammock, walking trails, barn yard and goats. You will have access to our washer and dryer on the 2nd floor. During your stay We ( my husband and I) are happy to help you explore the gold country all around us, The Empire Mine in Grass Valley, Wine tasting, fine dining and shops in Nevada City, Coloma where gold was originally discovered, great swimming holes on the American River Or we can leave you to be on your own. We are in our own space on the main floor so we are here anytime for you. If you need to contact us, just send a text message.
