We welcome you to our lakeside home in SW Michigan, on Big Crooked Lake. Enjoy summer lake activities, winter snowmobiling or local wine tastings. Come for weddings, ND football or graduations. Walking distance to a brewery, several restaurants/bars, a coffee shop/ice cream shop & grocery store. Our home sleeps 15 people on beds & pull outs PLUS there is a crib & pack-n-play. 20 minutes east of St. Joseph & Lake Michigan, it is a 30-minute drive to South Haven, MI & 45 minutes to Notre Dame! The space Our home is a 2 story home with a walk out basement. The main living level is one flight upstairs from the street and one flight down to the patio and the lakefront. On the main level there is a living room, dining area and full kitchen. There is also a powder room and a sitting room (bdrm 4) which has a queen sized pull out sofa that sleeps two. There is a small sunroom on the main level as well, that overlooks the patio and the lakefront. On the second floor you will find bedroom #1, that sleeps 3 and has a private balcony overlooking the lakefront and patio. It also has a private 3 piece bathroom. On the second floor you will also find bedroom #2 and bedroom #3 (both sleep 3 people each) and a large guest bath that has a toilet, 2 sinks and tub/shower combo. Lastly, on the second level there is an open area, that we refer to as "the loft" that has 2 twin beds. On the lower level or walk out basement, there is a wet bar, game table and a pool table. There is a "flex" room (bdrm 5) which has a queen pull out sofa, a crib and a changing table. The lower level also has a full bathroom with toilet, sink and private shower. To get to this level from the street side, there are 2 steps. This level leads right to the patio and the lakefront, without having to navigate any stairs. The patio has a gas grill and gas start fire pit. OUR HOME IS RIGHT ON THE WATER! WE OWN ABOUT 35-40 FEET OF LAKE FRONT FOR USE EXCLUSIVELY. THE BEACHES TO EITHER SIDE OF US ARE PRIVATE PROPERTY, please respect property lines. Guest access There is a lock box, with a key for access to the home. I will give you the key code for the lock box 24 to 48 hours before your stay. Please note, for those of you that want to use our beach, please be advised that our beach is relatively small comparatively to our neighbors and unfortunately our guests must respect the property lines while visiting. You would have access to the 35-40 feet of our beach however, which is directly in front of our home. Please do not infringe on our neighbors beach.
