A Mont Alpi BBQ with a side burner is positioned nearby for outdoor cooking, while the patio offers a comfortable place to read, sip wine, or watch the kids paddle in the lake. Each bedroom has been thoughtfully prepared with blackout curtains and bamboo sheets for restful nights, while two full bathrooms and an outdoor shower make it simple to rinse off after a day on the lake. The newer portion of the home has baseboard heating, and two ductless split units provide heating and cooling—one in the main living area and one in the upstairs primary bedroom. For a truly carefree stay, we’ve included all the extras: paddleboards, kayaks, beach toys, a Mont Alpi BBQ with a side burner, three Bluetooth speakers positioned around the home, high-speed Wi-Fi, cable TVs, a full laundry area with supplies, and kitchen and bathroom basics—even an additional full-size fridge and chest freezer for longer stays. The original portion of the cabin does not have its own dedicated heat source. Bedrooms without direct air conditioning can run warmer on hot summer nights; fans are provided in every room, and running the AC earlier in the day helps keep the home cool before bedtime. ★ EXTERIOR SECURITY CAMERAS ★ Exterior security cameras are installed outside only and do not monitor any interior spaces. ★ WEATHER ★ Weather and temperatures can vary throughout the season. Please check the local forecast before your stay and pack accordingly. ★ WATER LEVELS ★ Shuswap Lake water levels vary throughout the season and generally peak in June. Levels are influenced by factors such as the previous winter’s snowfall and affect how much usable beach is available. During high water, guests may need to step into the lake to reach the dock.
