Maiata Heights

Kia Orana and Welcome to Maiata Heights. The location is only minutes away from one of the best swimming spots on the island and great eateries with breathtaking ocean and Mountain Views. The house comes with unlimited WiFi but switch off and connect with nature in this spacious two bedroom two bathroom oasis. We have so many great memories attached to this place, and we’re convinced that you will too. The space The property is centrally located on the backroad of Nikao in an isolated area up the hills. There are two levels to the home. On the first level is an open space double carport garage, laundry room and clothesline. The second level is the home with an open plan living upon entry, of the kitchen, living room and balcony that opens up to a full ocean view and view of the airport landing strip. Bedroom 1 is a master en-suite with a king bed, a walk-in wardrobe and adjoining bathroom. Bathroom 1 has a toilet, double vanity sink, rainfall shower and bath tub. Bedroom 2 has a king bed with a walk-in wardrobe. Bathroom 2 is a shared bathroom with a toilet, double vanity and rainfall shower. Guest access You have access to the entire home so please help yourself to the fruits and herbs on the property. We have banana trees, papaya trees, an avocado tree, passionfruit, lemongrass, herbs and butterfly pea flowers on the property, but availability is pending on seasons. Other things to note ISLAND LIVING It is common to have roosters, chickens and stray dogs wonder onto the property. You should not be worried about the little visitors, they are harmless but bear in mind they can make a lot of noise. We are located close to the airport so it is common to have aircraft noise from landing and takeoff. Please use mosquito coils or repellant when outdoors as these pests can be relentless. On Sundays most places are closed and no alcohol is sold at stores. Our weather can be unpredictable and yes it does rain on a tropical island unfortunately. Wifi connection can be very unreliable here in the islands. You will experience lagging on rainy days but switching off and enjoying the beautiful views should make up for it.
