Description
Now with WIFI 🛜 Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. We are less than 1 mile from the Cedar Sink trailhead in Mammoth Cave National Park. Enjoy the sound of the seasonal waterfalls on the property, while relaxing on the elevated deck in the trees. The space Please enjoy the area right around the treehouses. You are welcome to explore but know it is at your own risk. These units have recently been built so there is plenty of wildlife around. Always be cautious of snakes as well as bugs. There is a creek right behind the units, the rocks are slippery and when there has been rain the water can be fairly forceful. Children should always be accompanied with an adult while exploring the area. Please be aware that the dumpster for the treehouses at the end of the road is the beginning of a "private property" area. Guests are welcome to explore to the dumpster and behind the treehouses on the treehouse side of the creek. There are neighboring farms that are property of other familes. The pond is private property as well. Guest access There is a gravel parking area for 1-2 cars right beside your treehouse. Please do not park in the grass or at the fire pits. If you need to park a car up by the road on the main gravel area, you may do so, but please do not block the drive of any of the units. Other things to note Being a treehouse, we tried to equip it with comfort as well as keep it true to the treehouse feel. This unit sleeps 6comfortably. There is a queen bed in a private bedroom on the main floor. The other beds are in the loft upstairs. This bedroom requires going up a spiral staircase. Kitchen: The kitchen has a toaster oven, microwave, and coffee maker. There is a gas grill by the fire-pit as well. We have utensils to grill as well as grill liners for easy cleanup. Fire pit: There are a few logs by the fire-pit, but the logs are not covered. If there has been rain recently, we can't guarantee they will ignite easily. There may be times when we do not have the time to provide cut wood due to busy schedules with our own family. You may want to bring extra dry wood and/or something to get the fire going. We have roasting sticks in the kitchen to use at the pit. Please return those, cleaned of sticky material back inside the treehouse kitchen.
