We are sharing our 3 bedroom home snuggled within a fenced 1 acre compound in the foothills of the Ozarks. At the end of a ½ mile private drive, your next classical retreat is 10 min from Russellville, Lake Dardanelle & ATU. Heading south you have access to Arkansas’ dramatic state parks on Mt Nebo and Mt Petit Jean. Heading north you are in the heart of the Ozarks via Scenic HY 7, 30 min from hiking & riding trails & 1 hour from Jasper and the Buffalo National River. The space This newly refurbished open floor plan home features a no-step entrance, tall ceilings, a full kitchen and dining room which opens to both a screened in dining porch and a generous living space with a gas fireplace, Steinway grand piano, original art, modern and antique furnishings, big screen TV & free Wi-Fi, all on a single floor. Our place started as a recording studio / retreat for Classical Music Artists, so the Steinway baby grand is well maintained and still available for a music retreat to learn your next recital or just plunk out your favorite melodies. (If desired, a collaborative pianist and/or a professional recording engineer can be retained.) Outside you’ll enjoy further sitting areas. In the back is the BBQ area, out front is a full width porch facing an accessible fruit and berry patch which is “you-pick-it” depending on which season you stay and we grow herbs in planters on the patio for your cooking experiences. Finally, there is a fishing pond right outside the motorized gate. Other amenities include a king bedroom with private bath, a queen and a twin bedroom that share the guest full bath, washer/dryer, ample parking, and enough space outside the gate to back your trailer around. Guest access You have access to 3 bedrooms and every other part of the house and grounds including the muscadine vineyard. The garage is used for storage so at this time is not available. The listing is for 4 guests. If you wish to have one more , there is an additional charge of $15 for a 5th guest. Other things to note This home Is NOT ADA certified but there is a no-step walkway and wide ramp up to the entry door, all doorways and hallways are generously sized, and the bathrooms feature grab / towel bars. Pets are not allowed in the house but are OK in the screened porch and outside in the “yard”. NOTE: The 1-acre yard is fenced to keep deer away from the fruit, grapes and berries. It’s a stout fence in good repair, but if your pet is an escape artist, they can probably find a way through.
