Location: Our unique igloo boat is moored in the calm waters just south of Gävle, only a short walk from the famous Peters Maritime Museum. The restaurant is famous for its exquisite cuisine and its magnificent panoramic views of the horizon from a high cliff. Close to Nature: Our location next to Orarnas Natura 2000 area offers a special close contact with nature. Here you can experience a rich bird and wildlife as well as unique lake beds where cows graze during the summer months. At the right season, the local fishermen sell their freshly smoked fish, a delicacy that you can't miss if this opportunity is given. This area is perfect for nature lovers who want to go on explorations, photograph or just enjoy the tranquility of untouched nature. Year Round Activities: Summer: The Igloo boat is located in clear water surrounded by the magnificent nature of Vårvik. Use our rowing boats, kayaks or sup boards to explore the area, swim at nearby beaches or just enjoy on the dock. Winter: When the ice settles, Vårvik becomes a paradise for ice fishing, ice skating and skiing directly adjacent to your igloo boat. Restaurants and bars: A short walk will take you to local delicacies at Peters Sjökrog. Shopping and Entertainment: Furuviksparken is close by. Easy check-in with digital code. NOTE: The price refers to the jetty location, i.e. the igloo boat is moored at the jetty. If you have special requests, such as that the boat is moored at a buoy further out in the bay or, for example, at a private small island, this must be pre-booked as it requires more work and guest transport by boat, etc. from us hosts and those options are also weather dependent. Unfortunately, it is not possible for insurance reasons to drive around with the igloo boat as a guest.
