No running water is available at the cabin. Drinking water provided. We provide at least 4 gallons of water that can be used for drinking and washing. We are happy to drop off additional water when requested. Also , you can also get additional water at a local spring. Cabin is a cozy studio setup with less than 300 square feet. Feel the stresses of life wash away as you listen to the sounds of the water and wind thru the trees. Lots of windows and 180 degree view of the water. Private water view where you may see eagles, herons, ducks, owls, chickadees, gulls, and other birds,and seals too. There is a lot of wildlife nearby as well such as a fox, turkey, fisher cat, skunk,deer, possum, or porcupine. Two kayaks with PFDs (personal flotation device) available for use. Deck facing water with gas grill and picnic table. Outdoor chairs. Fire pit (Purchase firewood nearby) This space has a nice view of the water. Private porta potty onsite serviced weekly. No wi fi is provided. Cell service is good. Driveway has space for 1-2 cars by cabin. Nearby walking and hiking trails. The property is on the rocky coast of Maine. There is uneven terrain with many naturally occurring tripping hazards. Hiking is at your own risk to falls and injury. You can swim off of the dock/float which has a swim ladder or you can walk into the water from the property. Be aware that swimming in ocean water carries risk. Swim at your own risk. Kitchenette includes : Coffee maker Hot water pot Cooking utensils Pans Dishes & utensils Glassware Microwave Toaster oven Electric fry pan Refrigerator (dorm sized) Grilling tools You can cook simple meals on the gas grill or in the kitchenette space. We also provide some basic condiments and cooking oil as well as some spices. We also provide coffee, tea bags, and hot chocolate packs. Bed linens, beach towels, and bath towels provided. We try to use environmentally friendly cleaning products and avoid disposable items as much as possible. You will find recycling cans for your use. The dock and water access are private. Other things to note There is no heat in the cabin. Space heaters are not allowed per insurance policy due to safety hazard. The gangway to the dock can become quite slippery when wet. Even with stair guards. Depending on the tide, the walk may be very steep. Use caution.
