The building has an interesting history, as it was originally used for Mechanical Weaving, which contributes to the neighborhood's industrial and cultural heritage. The central location on a quiet, one-way street by the pedestrian street allows you to experience the city's life up close, while enjoying peaceful surroundings. From the windows, there are views of some of Svendborg's most charming half-timbered houses, where the 1742 carnations testify to the area's special, historical atmosphere. The home is designed for two adults and is not suitable for children or pets. With the city's many facilities and experiences within a 3-4 minute walk, equivalent to 150-300 meters, you have everything from bus terminal, train station, harbor and square to shops and a wealth of restaurants right at your fingertips. Everyday life and the exploration of Svendborg can therefore easily be done on foot, but if you need parking, there is free private space just 50 meters from the address. This makes both arrival and departure easy and effortless, whether you choose to experience the city on foot or arrive by car. Guest access Access to the apartment can be either via the white front door (house number 2) or through the black grid gate (house number 4). However, to make the arrival as comfortable as possible, it is recommended to use the white front door, which leads directly into the hallway. From here, a staircase with six steps leads up to the apartment, so you can easily and comfortably reach your home. Upon arrival, the host will personally greet you, hand over the key and welcome you, so your stay will have the best possible start. Other things to note The bedroom is decorated in a mini “New Yorker style” with a focus on open solutions and an urban expression. Here, there is a smooth transition between the sleeping area, toilet and bathroom, which are separated by a light partition, which ensures an airy and modern room flow. The solution creates a flexible and inspiring environment, but the space may not be the obvious choice for people who prefer maximum privacy and a high degree of modesty during their stay. The apartment is located on a one-way street with a no-parking zone, but the authorities have never issued fines, and there is a general understanding of short-term parking in connection with unloading and loading – as long as it is not excessive. Once your belongings are safely unloaded, we will gladly show you to a private parking space, which is located within a walking distance of about 100 meters from the apartment.
