The Bichon House

Family and warm townhouse on two levels with 2 gardens and adjoining terraces, as well as a 6x3 m swimming pool. Located 20 min door to door from downtown Bordeaux by tram (stop 2 min away), close to the Bordeaux-Le Bouscat Hippodrome. Shops (pharmacy, tobacco, supermarkets...) and the Bois du Bouscat (island of greenery and freshness) accessible in 5 minutes on foot. The space The entrance to the house is via a reception garden with a vegetable garden (taste the herbs and help yourself if the fruits/vegetables are ripe!) and a terrace with a table and 4 chairs suitable for breakfast in the sun. On the ground floor, the entrance overlooks a storage area and the toilet. The space opens to the right on a very bright living room suitable for relaxing on the sofa (convertible) in front of the fireplace (not usable), to read, watch a movie (fiber Wi-Fi and TV screen), play guitar or listen to music (many vinyl records). The open kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle… as well as a central island for 6 people to eat. The back kitchen offers storage, a fridge-freezer, a washing machine and a dryer. This space overlooks the main garden of the house and the large Mediterranean-style terrace, from which is accessible an extra room equipped with a sofa bed with direct access and a beautiful view of the pool. The terrace is equipped with a Weber barbecue, a large table and benches. The bromine pool (almost odorless, depth 1.40 m) is equipped with an alarm and equipped with a staircase and a bubble cover to keep the heat and prevent the development of bacteria. An adjoining green space allows you to sunbathe, play ball, mölkky... The main bedrooms are located on the upper floor of the house. Two children's bedrooms are equipped with original 1 person cabin beds and one bedroom is equipped with a double bed with high-end bedding in 140 cm and wardrobe space. A bathroom with a seaside-style bathtub completes this level. Guest access Fully private accommodation. Pets not allowed please. For your comfort, cleaning products (sponge, dishwashing liquid, floor product, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent, etc.), charcoal, pool products as well as basic groceries (salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, canned food, etc.) are at your disposal. Towels, bath sheets and linen are provided for all guests. Beach towels upon request. Other things to note The house is very suitable for families wishing to visit Bordeaux and its region easily, regardless of your mode of transport. It can serve as a good starting point for multiple cycling or public transport getaways. Possible loan of two bicycles and padlocks. If you would like more bicycles or cycling equipment (including bicycles/children's trailers), please let us know! If you choose the car, ring road exit, gas station and car rental 5 min. There is a small free parking lot in front of the house. The vegetable garden awaits a little watering attention from you daily to continue to enjoy its flavors and colors... Parties are strictly forbidden, neighbors are warned and vigilant. As a courtesy to them, who are very nice, we thank you for not being too noisy when you are in the garden. We invite you to put your food waste (excluding meat and fish) in the compost provided for this purpose.
