Characterful 3 room (2 bedrooms) apartment in a quiet residential street, conveniently located near the Messe and Roche. Within easy walking distance of the city centre's shops, restaurants, museums, Basel's beautiful Rhine waterfront and many of the city’s big employers, this bright and spacious 2nd floor apartment is the perfect place to stay for both business and pleasure. Less than 5 mins walk to the nearest tram stops. The space The apartment is in a 1920's "multi-family house" consisting of 4 separate apartments and is located on the 2nd floor. It is accessed via a shared front door from the street and then has its own private door to the apartment. It has a generous sized balcony overlooking the garden, which is accessed either through the back bedroom or the hallway. There is an additional smaller balcony at the front of the apartment accessed from the living/dining room. It has 2 double bedrooms, one with a European king size bed (160cm) and one with a European double bed (140cm). In the living/dining room, there are two click-clack sofabeds which provide extra sleeping space for 2 adults. Mattress protectors, sheets and duvets for the sofa beds, are all available at the property if needed. There is a bathroom, which has a bath with a shower over and a wash basin. There is a separate WC. The kitchen has a 4 ring electric hob, electric oven and grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, Nespresso machine, toaster, and all kitchen essentials (crockery, cuttlery, glasses, utensils, pots/pans, oven dishes etc). There is also a small table and 2 chairs in the kitchen. Laundry facilities: A shared washing machine, tumble dryer and clothes airers are available in the basement if needed. The laundry room is accessed from the courtyard outside the rear of the building. Laundry detergent is not provided.
