Eco-Friendly 1700’s Home, Walk to Westerly!

Walk Downtown for dinner after a long beach day! Right between Westerly & Mystic! Comfortable home with a putting green, shuffleboard, and a huge patio w/a fire pit! Our home was originally a 3 family farm house in the 1700’s, with a small barn next door. Now both the house and barn have been converted to single family homes in the early 1900’s. We have renovated to bring back some character that was lost, and to tie in some more modern updates too! We hope you can stay! The space Hi there! Here's a little more detail about our home! Our home is at the top of the hill along with one other small tan house that was originally the barn for our big red house in the 1700's so the corners of the two houses are very close together. (you can see both houses in the photos!) You can pull up the long driveway and enter thru the walkout basement via electronic lock. The basement is finished into a game room with shuffleboard, darts, and a tv. The second floor opens to the main living area with the kitchen, dining room, half bathroom, primary bedroom with walk in closet and attached full bathroom. You can also access the large side deck from the kitchen. Upstairs you will find the laundry, 3 additional bedrooms, and another full bathroom. Our home was built in the 1700's so there are some unlevel areas on the second floor, & the upstairs bedrooms are small- 2/3 upstairs rooms have closets for extra storage. The small house next door was originally built as the barn for our home in the 1700's so that is why they are close together, but is now also used as a summer rental. We have put up brand new fencing to give each property their own privacy and designated parking area as well! Guest access The entire home is yours! We stored all of the beach items under the deck for easy access. We just ask that you do not enter the small shed or the back half of the basement as that is personal storage, thank you! Other things to note You'll spend most of your time outside on the huge deck and patio or taking practice putts on the brand new putting green! It is just a short 5 minute walk to tons of restaurants and shops in downtown Westerly! The closest beaches are about 10-15 minutes- our favorites are Misquamicut, Watch Hill, East Beach, and Blue Shutters! Mystic CT is just 10-15 minutes away and is known for the aquarium and seaport- also some of the best food in CT! Check out my welcome book for tons of recommendations! We are fully equipped with beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels, and a large cooler! We have also provided some beach toys for kids, so no need to pack those! This is our personal home and we are so happy to be able to share it with you and your group for the summer! Our goal is for each and every guest to feel like they are staying at with friends and not just another rental property. Due to our location in a neighborhood we just ask that guests please be respectful of our neighbors and noise after 10pm.
