Welcome to our cozy guest house on Nananu-i-Ra, a Fijian paradise with stunning Pacific Ocean views! ♥️Perfect for 4 guests, our home offers two comfortable bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and convenient amenities like an outdoor heated shower, and washing machine. The space Our island getaway overlooks the beach front and the magnificent Pacific Ocean! ✔️The guest house sleeps 4 people. ✔️ 1st Bedroom ( single bed and double fold-down beds ). ✔️ 2nd Bedroom ( single bed and a queen bed and a single bunk bed above). ✔️1st half bath (sink and toilet) inside the home with an enclosed, private shower attached outside the home. The shower water is heated. ✔️2nd half bath and separate wash area attached to the building's exterior. Clothes can be hung to dry. ✔️ The kitchen is equipped with a convection/microwave oven, a two-burner gas stove, and a full-sized fridge. ✔️Available bar fridge for refreshments and a barbecue just steps from the house. ✔️ Sheets, blankets, and towels provided. Beach towels are available. Guest access Access to the whole guest house, deck and private beach. One can enjoy a beautiful view high from the guest house located on the hill of our property. Our property is in a remote location, so please be aware that this secluded retreat is a few hours ride and a 3 km boat trip away from the Nadi Airport. The latest boat pick up is 7:00pm at Ellington Wharf. ✔️This island is an unique off-grid experience. While the guest house has all the typical conveniences, it is powered by a 24-hour solar and wind system. Power is generally reliable, but can also be weather-dependent so please exercise discretion. Avoiding long showers, hair dryers, or leaving the lights on will encourage uninterrupted electricity. . ✔️For North American guests, you must bring a few electrical converters. We will have some on standby in case of an emergency, but it is best to supply your own for your convenience. ✔️WI-FI is available through Vodafone if you want to use your own SIM card or share your host's data plan. 🔺Since the guest home is off-grid, the water system consists of collected rainwater stored in large tanks on the property. We also suggest bringing bottled water for drinking and teeth brushing. 🔺Food must be purchased in advance of taking the boat to the island as there are no food markets or restaurants on the island. It's ideal to purchase groceries in Lautoka (a larger town en route from Nadi to Rakiraki) from a store or the produce market as food items can be limited in Rakiraki. ❤️When in season, bananas can be picked from trees on the property. We are happy to give guests more detailed information about this. One large beach towel provided per guest per visit. There is a charge of $5.00 Fj for an extra towel. A couple of hammocks are provided. Check in and check out are tide sensitive. It is important guests have What's app (or Viber) for boat pick up communication. Other things to note This place is a hidden gem in Fiji Island! Perfect for couples and friends. 🔺Kindly send us a message prior booking if you plan to bring your pets. There is a pet fee of $50.00 each. 🔺No partying or any events/gathering that might disturb the neighbourhood. 👉Getting Around For an additional fee, we can arrange for a taxi either from the Nadi Airport or a Nadi area hotel for the 3 to 3 1/2 hour drive to Rakiraki where Ellington Wharf is located. Please note that the boat from Ellington Wharf must be pre arranged due to the tides. As there is a beach landing on our property, loading and unloading must be done in high tide. 🔺 Beach landing means that you will step out into the water from the boat so please plan appropriately. 🔺The boat fee is $65 Fiji for each trip paid at time of landing. ✔️Guests should be physically able to climb the 185 small (most stairs are 7 " to 8" and ours is 3" to 4") rising stairs up to the guest house. ✔️Our friendly staff can help carry your luggage, and you can tip them for their service. ✔️ The air conditioner is powered by solar power only.
