The beach is a five minute walk away and is perfect for dog walking. There are also great walks up the beach, but if you’re looking for a longer walk I would recommend walking up to Newbiggin along the river Wansbeck which takes around 4 hours there and back. Or you could walk along the river in the other direction towards Stakeford which offers another lovely walk of about the same time. Guest access All the house Other things to note Cambois offers a great base to explore the rest Northumberland, including its fantastic coastline and castles, Hadrian’s wall and the vibrant city of Newcastle. It’s just off the main spine road (A189) and is tucked away down next to the sea.
