Sunny bedroom with private bathroom in a charming residential neighborhood located in Queens of NYC, supermarket, restaurants, fitness center, Starbucks and bus stops are all in walking distance! There are no TVs or sofas in the bedroom or living room. The living room is mainly used for yoga practice or workout Guest access You will have full access to the apartment. Other things to note Please bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers. Please take off the shoes upon entering the house. Use electric water kettle in the kitchen to boil water or bring your own drinking water. No condiment provided for cooking due to food safety concern. No visitors allowed, only the guest that is in the reservation. No eating and drinking on the bed. No smoking, no vaping any kind!! P.S. 1. Please be aware that if you plan to travel to Brooklyn using public transportation, it may take 1 hour+, while 30 minutes by Uber. 2. If you encounter any issues during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact me at any time, whether it's late at night or early in the morning. I believe that most problems can be resolved promptly. Leaving a negative review after checking out, without prior communication, is not advisable. About transportation: Utilize Whitestone Shopping Center as a reference point on the map to estimate the travel time to your desired destination. The bus stops are 1-2 minute walking distance from my home. The choice of transportation depends on factors such as traffic and cost. For instance, if you're heading to Times Square (42nd St) by public transportation, you have a few options: 1. Taking the bus Q15 or Q61 for approximately 20-30 minutes to Main Street 7 train station, followed by the subway for 30 minutes (Express) or 40 minutes (Local). This option is the least expensive at $2.90 and is generally less affected by traffic. 2. Opting for the Express Bus QM2/QM32, which takes 40-50 minutes (subject to traffic conditions) and costs $7. This is my go-to option as it offers a safer and more comfortable ride than the crowded subway. 3. Catching a bus Q15 to the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) Murray Hill station for about 10 minutes, then taking the LIRR train for 20-25 minutes. This is the most expensive choice, with the bus costing $2.90 and the train priced at $8.25 (off-peak) or $11.25 (peak). However, it is less prone to traffic delays. Traveling to or from LGA via Uber typically takes 10 to 15 minutes, but if you opt for public transportation, anticipate a journey lasting approximately 1 hour. Similarly, when using Uber to go to or from JFK, the trip typically spans 20 to 30 minutes, while public transportation can extend the travel time to more than 1 hour. Ultimately, your decision may be influenced by your priorities, whether it's cost-effectiveness, time efficiency, or minimizing the impact of traffic on your commute.
