Easy street parking, ask for details. Your private room with attached private bathroom is accessed from our library so you'll likely meet other guests. The space Room 3 at The Boho is our smallest space – it's a locking private bedroom and small adjoining private bathroom (with shower). You'll enjoy original character – high ceilings, ancient windows and trims, original fir floors – and we've adorned the space with wool rug, unique furniture, and some fun, eclectic art. Enjoy your comfy queen bed under a stained glass window, a cozy chair and antique sideboard brightly lit by a huge heritage window. Tuck into your private bathroom with antique mirrors. We've included as many amenities as we can (see the amenities list below) in this wee space. Your bedroom faces east and south, over backyard trees, shrubs, and gardens, to neighbouring heritage homes, and beyond. Enjoy the shared spaces: the common library where you'll find room to stretch out, relax and read, with records, books, magazines, games, info on local events, and more. There's an old desk with all the desk-type things you might need. And there's a printer. And chess, of course. In the foyer by the washer and dryer you'll find cushions to take outside for the table and chairs under the magnolia tree. Is this a stuffy old Victorian place? Ha! No way! Grab a record player from the library and spin a record, relax and watch the gulls gliding by, and the squirrels racing through the branches and along the fence. Come and get a real feel for an authentic Victoria neighbourhood on our quiet street under giant old trees, with the convenience of town just a few blocks away! Sorry we cannot offer any facilities for cooking food, but we do provide a shared mini fridge for your food or medications and a shared microwave for reheating food. We are a BnB and breakfast is served in our main floor dining room between 8-9 am every day. Guest access Punch in your code (plus the bottom button) at our red front door to enter the common foyer, and ascend to the library. Your locked door to your private area is to the left. Other things to note • The Boho is 134 years old, so it creaks! The soundproofing has been much improved but our windows and doors, walls and floors still won't seal you in like a modern concrete condo. The ceilings are high and the rooms airy, furnished with things we've found and things we love. You might meet other guests or one of us in the library or foyer. We look forward to saying hello! • The tap water in Victoria is wonderful and perfectly safe to drink so you don't need to bring bottled water. • Room 3 as you've gathered by now, is not large but it is very cozy and lovely – it's simply a sweet bedroom with small adjoining bathroom. • Arriving by bike? We have room, and you can charge your ebikes. • Room 3 doesn't include parking in our short driveway, however, if other guests aren't traveling by car we may have room for yours if it isn't too long, so please inquire. Also, we can point you to free street parking (it's easy and very, very close by) if our driveway is full or too short for your vehicle. We cannot park vehicles in our driveway that hang over the sidewalk. One example of a vehicle that simply won't fit in our driveway is a four-door pickup truck. • Fun fact! - The original occupants, the Scholefield family, had 12 kids and JUST ONE TOILET!
