The space Welcome to Ironstone BnB. 14 Km from Scone in the Upper Hunter Valley, we offer a place to relax, explore and enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the mountains. We are new to hosting and would appreciate all feedback as we endeavour to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our full Westwing accommodation comprises of 4 queen rooms, with a shared bathroom and kitchen area between two (if you are with family or friends) or your own private bathroom if you prefer. You can book a single room through this listing, with the option of adding on guests and using the second room, or you can book both suites and have 4 rooms available to you. Both listings are below. Ironstone BnB | Westwing Echidna Ironstone BnB | Westwing Wallaby The prices listed are for 2 guests, there is an additional charge per guest if you would like to use the second bedroom. BEDROOM The bedroom features a sealy queen bed with Weave linen sheets and lovely throws. You will also find restored bedside tables, occasional chairs and dressers. The rooms have a beautiful floor to ceiling window looking out over the valley and provide a fantastic viewing spot for sunrise. Blinds are also available for that sense of privacy. A reverse cycle air conditioner is provided for those hot summer days and cool winter nights. BATHROOM Our bathroom features an overhead rain style water flow and single water flow hand piece. The bathroom is fully equipped with luxury Salus hand and body wash, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner, alongside fresh soft towels. COOKING and EATING We offer a light breakfast of cereals, yoghurt, fruits, fresh muffins, tea and coffee. As we are out of town, feel free to bring some supplies. You can also pop into town for a cafe hit, pub meal or fine dining experience. There’s a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and pod coffee facilities. The dining area has a Weber BBQ that is available to use if you feel like cooking. The fire pit is an ideal spot to sit and enjoy the evening stars, breathe the fresh country air in the warmer months or sit and watch the fire in the winter months (subject to local fire restrictions). MAIN HOUSE The main house is close by but detached from accommodation wing. Our guests have their own privacy and space, and outside offers many areas to sit and take in the beautiful sunsets. We have 3 beautiful dogs, one very old but handsome kelpie and 2 cuddly labradoodles. They have their own area within our house yard separate from the accommodation. We are a family who enjoy getting together with friends at our home however do have our own areas so as not to disturb our guests. NOTES Majority of the furniture found in the rooms have been purchased second hand and lovingly restored with sustainability at the forefront of our design and to achieve the perfect country look and feel. All of the sculptures and areas around the property were built here. Guest access You are welcome to enjoy the areas around the accommodation wing including the outdoor fire pit on those cold winters days. Other things to note We are a rural property set on 10 acres.
