Beautiful cottage in Obermaubach with lake view

The small vacation home offers tranquility and relaxation. With bird chirping and the first rays of sunshine over the mountain, you wake up in the cozy bed under the sloping roofs of the house. Obermaubach offers a reservoir with ice, coffee and pedal boats. Hiking and cycling trails in nature as much as your heart desires. The terrace in front of the house offers relaxation with views over the lake. With luck, a bat will fly by in the evening. Feel free to visit us. 🏔❤️ The space Directly adjacent to the sleeping area on the upper floor is the bathroom equipped with a shower, toilet, sink and vanity. The bathroom has towels, a hairdryer and cosmetics. On the ground floor of the small house is a living and dining area. There you will find a cozy sofa, a smart TV and a small seating area for the meals of the fully equipped kitchen. Outside on the private terrace there is also a table with two chairs for dining and relaxing as well as a sun lounger with upholstery and storage. ☀️ Guest access The embedded vacation home can be reached via two stairs. From the parking lot in front of the garage, you can reach the green front garden via stone steps. Follow the newly laid path of pebbles and stepping stones until a staircase appears to the right of a green crate. These stairs lead you directly to your terrace. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Other things to note In addition to the reservoir, Obermaubach offers some attractive restaurants. Café Flink has excellent cakes (e.g. Rababer- Schmand) and a very nice terrace. The boat rental, open in summer, offers the opportunity to experience Obermaubach from a different perspective. The Strepp am See restaurant is a must because here you can enjoy the evening with the last rays of sunshine and good food. In front of the restaurant, the signs indicate the well-developed bike paths through the Rurtal. The Rurtalbahn stops here and commutes between Düren and Heimbach. With it you can reach many hiking routes or enjoy the magnificent panorama of the Rurtal on the way. For garden lovers, it is recommended to get off the Rurtalbahn towards Heimbach in Arbenden. There, a biologist and his wife have designed an extraordinary garden. Soul meets head under Asian auspices. A visit to Commstr. 8 is free of charge. A donation is requested.
