Built in 1842, this historic Victorian home has modern amenities and an art gallery vibe. 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths and plenty of space in a scenic garden environment. The house is kept very comfortable by 4 separate AC window units and shade! **Must climb stair cases. Everywhere you go is uphill or downhill!! The space This home provides a singular space to explore Jim Thorpe, and it's extensive history as the epicenter of the anthracite boom in the mid 1800's. This 3 bedroom home is rented out in the summer and is full of old and new art, historical objects from the coal era and many books and windows to bring the outside in, and help you experience all that Jim Thorpe has to offer! Guest access The main house at 189 High Street belongs exclusively to you. A second rental property is in the back yard, so the backyard belongs to them, but there is a beautiful private yard for you that you enter from the sunroom of the house. There is a picnic table, chairs and koi pond in this garden-yard. Additionally, a plant filled front porch has a couch from which you can sit and enjoy the view! Other things to note If you don't enjoy walking OR if you have physical limitations, then consider the highly accessible Apartment B or G, or the moderately accessible, A or E.
