Description
Our home is in the resort town of Manitou Beach, along the shores of Little Manitou Lake. Enjoy the therapeutic salt water beach and spa; browse the antique and gift shops, or art galleries; cycle or walk through Wellington park; take in a round of golf or mini golf; watch a movie at the drive-in theatre. Make sure to check out Danceland, a world-famous venue and home of live music dances and buffet dinners. The space Our home is a new build - the Sauna Suite was finished in 2024. This cozy and comfortable one-bedroom suite is totally unique. The spa-like bathroom is accessed from the bedroom and has a cedar-lined sauna, two showers (one with cold water bucket), and private toilet and urinal stalls. There is no bathtub. There will be a steam room added sometime in the future! The bedroom has a queen bed, a television, and room-darkening shades. The living area has a couch that pulls out, for more sleeping space if needed (please bring your own bedding). There is also a smart TV and fireplace. This suite does not have laundry facilities available for guest use. During the warmer months, the use of two kayaks are included with the suite rental. There is a floating dock just down the hill from the house where you can launch the kayaks or swim. Guest access Access to the Sauna Suite is on the north side of the house; from the driveway, go down the path on the east side of the house and through the gate. Other things to note The Solona House Lakeview Suite is upstairs. Both suites are self-contained, and have their own separate entrances. Please be considerate and attentive to the fact that there may be guests staying upstairs.
