Our home is all about having everything that you need so you will never need to leave, but proximity to everywhere you want to go in south Florida when you do. The space Welcome to our 1950’s Mid-Century Modern vacation home! Simple, clean lines surrounded with lush tropical landscape greet you outside. Step inside, high quality finishes greet you with a calm color palette and plenty of light. Open the sliding door to an expansive, resort style back yard with heated salt-water pool and all the amenities you need to never want to leave. Kitchen: Chef oriented, induction cooktop, smart oven with air fry, refrigerator with ice maker, filtered water and convection microwave. Drawers are fully stocked with quality cookware, bakeware, cutlery, and utensils. A Keurig dual K-Cup/carafe machine as well as a N’espresso Essenza Mini is provided for coffee and we stock coffee, tea and sweeteners. Living Room: Large sectional to relax, take in the view to the outdoors, or connect to our 65” Samsung Frame Smart TV to stream your favorite shows. A Sonos Arc provides exceptional sound for listening to TV or streaming music with Alexa at your service. Lights may also be voice activated. Dining Room: Our wide glass Parsons table seats six to eight, with a view out to the pool or courtyard. Plush sling back dining chairs are comfortable to spend time in, whether dining or playing games on a rainy day. Our three bedrooms follow the colors of a south Florida beach. Blue Guest 1: Queen size platform bed with 12” Sealy Hybrid mattress & reading desk/chair Green Guest 2: King size platform bed with 12” Sealy Memory Foam & desk/chair Sand Master Suite: King size platform bed with 13” Purple Memory Foam/adjustable base. 32” Smart TV & en-suite bath. Slider provides direct access to back yard and pool. All have high quality linens, pillows, mattresses and black out shades for a restful sleep. Bathrooms: Zen colors continue, with quality towels, built in medicine cabinets, rain-shower heads with hand-held heads. A shower stool is provided. Our laundry room provides an on site washer & dryer. Yard: Private, lush, expansive and above all, relaxing! Our 15' x 32' salt-water pool boasts an integrated hot tub, sun shelf and deep end sitting bench to swim, soak or float the day away. Pool is heated in winter and may be chilled in summer to be enjoyed anytime of the year. Four sun loungers with cooler tables, a loungy modular outdoor sectional and outdoor dining table under a coconut tree provide multiple areas to hang out. Evening offers ambient landscape lighting. Dining table umbrella and cantilever umbrella provide shade when needed. Large 3 burner Weber Genesis empowers your BBQ skills. Location: Oakland Park is a welcoming city situated next to Fort Lauderdale. Within a 10 minute stroll are restaurants, barber shops, breweries and shops in the downtown. Our neighborhood is safe, quiet, and ideal for walking or runs. Gyms, grocery store, retail shops and local beaches are within a 10-15 minute drive Our location on the East side of town also puts you within 20-25 minutes of the main Fort Lauderdale beach, Las Olas shopping area and Flagler Village Arts district. Wilton Manors, with lively entertainment, is a 5-10 minute drive away. Miami and West Palm Beach are both within easy reach for a day trip. Guest access Guests are allowed to use all areas of the property with the exception of the garage. Other things to note Laundry room code is same as front door. Needs push in while unlocking to open* For those that may be working, there are two additional monitors if needed. Our kitchen island also hosts a printer. To enjoy ventures to the beach, we also provide folding backpack beach chairs, umbrella and a cooler. We provide floats for use in the pool as well as a blue tooth speaker for the pool area or beach. There is absolutely no smoking or vaping inside of the house or on the property. Please see House Rules for more information. Pets allowed subject to approval. Pets not allowed on furniture* Guests booking must be 25 years or older. Government ID required for all guests and must be supplied no later than 24 hrs before check-in. Unauthorized overnight guests or unapproved parties will result in expulsion from the property without refund.
