With two living rooms, multiple decks, a lakeside boathouse party room, and over an acre of lakefront, this 5BR+ home comfortably hosts up to 16 guests (20 with the Bunkhouse). Our fully stocked farmhouse kitchen includes everything you need—dishwasher, coffee maker, griddle, Nutribullet, and a roomy walk-in pantry. Option for in-person orientation to the property. From April thru October, access the Boathouse party room, kayaks and paddle board. The barn will be locked and not accessible during your stay, and landscaping equipment will be stored away in the garage. Two owners closets will also be locked. Other things to note *This is not a home for parties; but is ideal for large family groups and celebrations (max = 16, or 20 when Bunkhouse is requested).* This is a quiet area on a private lake, perfect for responsible adults to connect and make special lakefront memories. We welcome guests back for annual visits, and offer returning group discounts. Graduations at the Great Lakes Naval Station are just 25 minutes away. PARKING Parking for 4 vehicles in paved driveway in front of the garage + up to 3 more on white gravel drive. Parking on street is prohibited by local ordinance. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS If you want more than the kayaks and paddleboard provided for use on our lake -- you can head to Fox Lake to rent/enjoy pontoon boats, Waverunners, Jetskis and Hydrobikes. Six Flags Great America is also just 20 minutes down the road. College graduations in Chicago or Milwaukee are also just only an hour away. Other local attractions include: Lake Villa Metra Station (commuter train to Chicago), 7 minutes; Antioch antiques and main street, 15 minutes; Wilmot Ski and Tubing Mountain, 25 minutes; and Lake Geneva, 45 minutes. RESPECT FOR NEIGHBORS Our neighbors on either side of us are lovely and have their own private piers and shoreline. Please respect their property and stay entirely within our very large shoreline and pier area and stay entirely off of and away from theirs. The boundary of our Lakefront is set off by two benches, one on the Northside and one on the Southside of our property line. THANK YOU!
