Escape into our tranquil Orchard Retreat in a rural Essex Village. This is a self contained annexe with a charming cozy feel. This home is perfect for relaxation and exploration of the surrounding areas. Ideal for couples or solo travellers looking for a peaceful getaway. There are local supermarkets, plenty of takeaways & a couple of pubs within a 5 minute drive in nearby Tiptree. Also 15 min drive from Kelvedon station, with trains to London. There are some lovely walks on the door step. The space The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, etc. There is also a microwave with a convection oven and grill. Please note - there is no hob. Milk, tea, hot chocolate, coffee, cereals & pastries will also be there for you to enjoy. There is an iron, ironing board, travel cot and hairdryer. Lovely shower room with use of toiletries. Comfortable double bedroom with bedside cabinets. There is a fan / dimmer light above the bed. Towels/bedlinen (bed made up prior to arrival). The lounge area has a Smart TV and there is also free WI-FI. There is a pull down double sofa bed in the lounge area, for an extra guest at an additional fee of £15 per night. Guest access There is a free parking space for you on the driveway. There is a lockbox for self check in to Orchard Retreat. You are welcome to relax in the gazebo in our orchard garden. Other things to note We share our home with our friendly cockapoo Nala, who you may encounter in the garden. We also have three beautiful cats, Nigel, Simba and Rosie. You may not see them, as they don't venture far from home. There is a garden which spans the back of the main house and guest suite. This is our garden and at times we may be using it. We are happy for guests to sit and relax in the gazebo or the swing seat in the Orchard Garden. Please keep this gate shut at all times, as it a dog free zone.
