Top Farm is situated in the picturesque countryside of rural North Norfolk. The campsite directly adjoins 350 acres of wood and heathland, that’s home to an array of wildlife, which can be enjoyed whilst soaking up the splendid views or on one of the many walking and cycling routes. Visitors to Top Farm are extended a warm welcome and you’ll soon feel at home in this tranquil and secluded location, it feels far from the madding crowd but the lovely market Town of Aylsham is just 3 miles. The space Your bell tent will be ready for your arrival, pre-prepared with a single ring camping cooker, kettle, mugs, plates, utensils, two saucepans and a frying pan, plus a picnic bench. Bed linen, duvets, pillows, scatter rugs, two small side tables and a lantern. The showers are operated on £1 and 20 pence coin system and there is always lots of hot water. We have a family shower room and two further showers. When you arrive please check in at the Farm House reception area by ringing the bell or calling the mobile number left out. Clive the site owner is usually available to meet you and will give you a little tour of the campsite. If he is not available one of his teem will be on hand. Arrival time from 2pm we do not accept arrivals after 8pm. Departures by 10am please, if the site is not busy we are happy for you to leave a little later. Please discuss with us on arrival. The bell tents do not have electric hook ups, we have a small communal fridge and small freezer on site for guests to use. If you need additional gas for the camping stove please ask Paul, Sarah, or Clive and they will provide additional canisters. Please be aware we are located at the bottom of an unmade track with passing points, please take care and drive slowly along the track. We’d recommend you pack a few essentials for your stay; Wellies/filp flops Towels Tea towel washing up liquid and sponge Cool box and food for your stay. Camping chairs Layers of clothing fluffy socks fo chilly nights Warm PJ’s or a onesie for the kids 5lt bottle of water to refill or camping water bottle change for the showers Hot water bottles extra blankets or throw sun cream insect repellent power pack to charge phones etc sharp knife/chopping board head torch or additional camping lantern/lighting (there are no street lights or outside lights on site) Please always be prepared for all weathers, remember you are sleeping under canvas and whilst it is amazing to sleep under the stars, the experience is always 100% better if you have packed appropriate clothing for the adventure. If the weather is hot and you unzip the vents please do not allow children to push or touch the fly nets. The fabric is delicate and will easily rip. Please ensure the tent is fully zipped up and closed when you leave. The Market Town of Aylsham is located just a couple of miles down the road. You can hire bikes from us on the campsite and cycle into the town along cycle paths or it is a quick 5 minute drive. Aylsham has lots of little independent shops and some great coffee shops restaurants and pubs and is fast becoming a foodie hub. Markets are held every Monday and Friday and the first and third Saturday of the month, all in the Market Place. There is also a Tesco’s and Co op if you need to do a larger shop. There are lots of places to visit and things to see. Norwich is a beautiful City and you also have the North Norfolk Coast and Norfolk Broads a short drive away, along with the National Trust gem Blikling Estate is practically on our doorstep. We would be really grateful if you could remove all the covers from the beds and place the bed linen into the pillow cases. Please ensure the tent is fully zipped up and closed when you leave. We have a communal washing up area, fridge and small freezer for guests to use. Toilets are also located on this camping field. The bell tents are located on our camping field along with privately owned caravans. Each of the bell tents have beautiful views over the meadow and are perfectly located to watch the sunset. Guests have access to the adjoining 350 acres of wood and heathland. Bure Valley Railway is just 3 miles away in Aylsham. The railway line itself has a footpath along its full length which provides a wonderful and safe cycle route to Coltishall or Wroxham. The River Bure is close by with beautiful walks running beside it. Canoe, SUP hire available locally and cycle hire is available on site. Other things to note Our 5-meter bell tents are pre-erected on solid timber bases with soft cushion flooring, offering extra insulation during your glamping experience. Each tent is furnished with comfortable futon style beds including bed linen, duvets, and pillows, to ensure you enjoy your dreams under the stars. The bell tents are located on our camping and caravan field (see site map image) each of the bell tents have beautiful unobstructed views over the meadows and are perfectly positioned to watch the stunning sunset over our vast Norfolk sky. Our bell tents are the perfect choice for small groups or a family glamping break. Sleeping up to 4 people, set up as a double and two singles we can add a third single bed if required to sleep 5. All our Bell Tents have a handy purpose-built field kitchen located next to each pitch for your exclusive use – great for food storage and cooking – fantastic as a sheltered dining room if the weather gets a bit wet and windy! On your glamping trip we’ll do all the hard work for you, ensuring your tent is ready for your arrival, so you can kick back, relax, and enjoy your stay. Our package includes futon beds with a 10cm mattress, bed linen, duvets, pillows, scatter rugs, two small tables and a lantern. Please note: To ensure that everyone’s stay is as pleasant as possible, dogs are unfortunately not allowed in our bell tents. Bank holiday weekends are a minimum stay of 3 nights. This accommodation is not suitable for children under 2 years old. Due to the raised platform and large step into the bell tents this accommodation may not be suitable for those with reduced mobility. We do not accept Hen or Stage groups or all female/male groups. The bell tents do not have electric hook-ups, but there is a strong 4G signal, and free mobile/tablet charging points available at Top Farm.
