Our cottage is surrounded by fields and offers beautiful views of the countryside. It's just a 5 minute drive to Rutland Water, offering walks, cycling paths, or visit the nature reserve for some of the best bird spotting in the UK. Situated equally between Stamford and Oakham. The Fox is just a 5 minute drive away, an 18th century pub which serves great food. There is a well stocked village shop in Edith Weston, also a 5 minute drive away! Other things to note The road at the front is obviously busier at times when people are going to work so please be careful when reversing from the drive. Some guests find the drive slightly steep. Please feel free to park on the grass at the top of the drive.
